House sale - excellent service I had 5 valuations with various agents but Phillippa Bousfield of Belvoir stood out from the rest. Phillippa was practical and down to earth, she saw the potential in the house and gave me confidence that she would be the best person to present my house. Sharon Rickersey took over with the progression of the sale which for various reasons was complex. I cannot recommend Belvoir Nottingham West Lettings highly enough. As someone starting my letting journey for the first time, I was unsure about the process and everything that was involved, but from the very beginning Lloyd and Julie have held my hand through every step, from preparing the property to successfully securing a tenant. From the moment I contacted them everything moved incredibly smoothly. Lloyd came out to view the property he expertly guided me through the work that needed to be done, as well as making suggestions on how to make the property more appealing to potential tenants. He clearly explained the steps I needed to take to get the property ready, which gave me confidence and a clear plan of action. Julie was then fantastic in supporting me through the whole process. She connected me with excellent tradespeople to help complete the work and provided me with clear guidance on everything I needed to do and provide. Her knowledge, organisation and reassurance took away so much of the stress and worry I initially had about becoming a landlord. The speed and efficiency of the whole process has been amazing. Once the property was ready, it was listed within just two weeks of starting the process a tenant had been secured. They are a really terrible company when it comes to renting properties. After I saw a property on their website, I went to view it. Immediately after the viewing, I provided all my personal information and documents to apply for the property. I then waited for two weeks and called them several times, but they were very unhelpful and kept me waiting without giving me a clear answer. I was genuinely disappointed and frustrated. I had also visited their office previously, and at the time they told me that the landlord was on holiday. I said that was fine and that I was happy to wait. Today, after making my ninth phone call and waiting all this time, I finally received an answer. They told me that the property had actually been let to someone else the previous week. They wasted two weeks of my time. I could have been looking at other properties during that time instead of waiting for an answer from them. I also noticed that their website says the office opens at 9am, but in reality, the office does not seem to open until after 10am, and they only start answering phone calls after that. Honestly, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.👎

I thought the property was lovely, the kitchen was beautiful and the garden was amazing. I do think it could use some decorating and having a 6 hob cooker is great for making big dinners but with saying that there is no room for a good size table in the house I do think it is perfect especially for the price but it’s just the size of the kitchen not being able to fit a table for me I also had a few ideas for the living room I’m not sure the landlord would approve which involved those wooden paneling things on the wall and also changing the carpets upstairs. Overall i really do like it but it is small for a 3 bedroom and I’d probably ask to build a small extension just for a table lol I have 2 young children that have always sat at the table

As a tenant, I would be extremely wary of this company. Initially I thought Julie handled the viewing and organisation of the property (what I now know to be a good sales tactic). They seem to work with some very dodgy landlords that charge you an extortionate amount of your deposit for very little work (such a minor cleaning issues such as dust and a few cobwebs behind blinds!!). They quickly wash their hands of you and provide no support at all, allowing their landlords to bully you, going quickly from a "perfect" tenant with a gleaming mid-term inspection to a dirty and "unclean" property at the end of a tenancy. Honestly, you couldn't make it up! Disgusting behaviour from what I thought to be a prestigious lettings agent. Be wary!!!

My Landlord has chosen Belvoir Nottingham West to look the property I have lived in for 6 years and its clear why. I cannot fault them at all. Any query, call or email is actioned within days and everything followed up. This has always been the case but in Monday they went above and beyond. My boiler had a large bang and decided that was it. I was left without water, a toilet, and heating as well the effects now going through the property beneath me and causing problems there. Literally within minutes of them knowing, Julie had arranged for plumbers and electricians to visit my home and lady below me. Within hours, Julie was able to tell me what repairs were needed and what was going to happen. By the end of the day Julie managed to get me in a hotel over night and again for a 2nd night when the repairs weren't complete. The staff have always been great, the service is always fantastic and prompt and Julie is outstanding in her role which I'm sure the other staff go to such lengths too. This company WILL look after you, your property and your tenants. A solid 5 star and well deserved.
