A very friendly, professional and helpful company. In the initial stages, they were really quick to arrange viewings and I got an offer on my flat within three weeks - but that was just the beginning! I'd like to recognise Thomas Simpson in the post-sales team, he was so helpful in pushing the conveyancing along and I also credit him with keeping me calm when we were dealing with unexpected enquiries. It was great to have a contact who I could call with any concerns and who could relay messages to the buyers. Thomas was always reassuring, consistent with his communication and uplifting to speak with - a real asset to your team!

Zach at William H Brown was extremely helpful with looking for properties, he did everything he could to find the perfect one for 3 of us to move into. He was great at explaining the specifics about each property I viewed with him, the first one i viewed and loved was unfortunately not available for 3 people, who aren’t related, to move into and Zach was perfect at explaining the reasons why. He made sure to contact me about any other available houses that would be suitable, and even showed me another property that same day. 2 days later Zach contacted me about a property that he thought would work really well for my situation, I viewed the property that day and the landlord accepted us 3 to live there that same day as well. Zach managed to secure me a property in 3 days after the first viewing he showed me, after i’d been looking for 2 months. He has been extremely helpful and honest with information and answered all of our many questions. He made the experience of finally finding a property easy and i’m grateful for that, amazing service, wonderful person.

Norwich branch- overall the staff have been great especially Ethan, however they have a lot of ‘hidden’ fees and also charge ridiculously high for simple things such as an increase in rent they charged me £300 other companies I have used do not do this, I don’t rate the company at all, there’s a lot of other options available I would suggest shopping around

Had a good experience with WHBrown, but I found out they had ‘lost’ my application on a home that I loved, and it was only noticed after I called everyday to find updates, so that was very disappointing due to the staff member who lost our application. That is the only downside. However, Harrison was in contact with me after he noticed this and provided 5 star service. He stayed late to help with rewriting my application, spoke to the landlord specifically for me, and provided lots of information, and I was keen to meet him to say thank you. He was very professional and I couldn’t thank him enough, and we finally got the property that we almost lost, we wouldn’t be here without Harrison. Also a thank you to Olivia for originally meeting with us, and also providing information, and I am now settled happily in my home. WHBrown even provided a gift box with the keys to my new home, which included drinks and some cupboard foods, as well as leaflets for furniture. Thank you to Harrison!

Norwich branch - Unorganised, didn’t send us any information regarding the day our contract starts, no one met us and everyone contacted on the phone kept telling us different information. They sent us a bill on friday to pay and shut over the weekend, didn’t answer our calls on monday morning so couldn’t pay it until they picked up after an hour and a half of calling. We then sat around for six hours before we could even collect the keys.

PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

The Letting department is one of the worst agencies I have ever come across. My student son was looking for Accomadation and they just treated him like a money bank and many of his friends as well that we’re looking. There hard cell tactics and fear. Mongering was unprecedented Against young students. I would encourage any parents or students looking to rent to avoid this agency and the other branch as they feel that is acceptable to bully students and to lie about properties. Even complaining to the manager did nothing as he was just as bad as the rest of his bunch.
