Lisa and James were super helpful throughout our purchase. We viewed a number of properties with James, who was very polite and knowledgeable about the properties and the area. I think the quality of the properties they had listed says a lot about the firm. Lisa was very polite and professional throughout negotiations and really helped keep the purchase moving forward. All around a great company. Hopefully we won't need to sell anytime soon, but if we do ClaxtonBird would be top of our list for estate agents.

Had a great experience selling our house with Claxton Bird. After having issues with other bigger agents and finding them not listening to our needs and being pushy, Claxton were a welcome relief! ClaxtonBird were brilliant with my recent house sale from initial contact all the way through to completion. Mark who came and valued the house was professional and approachable when he visited and provided me with what I thought was a very fair valuation and a competitive rate to act for me. Sherry, who worked as my main sales progressor, was excellent and professional throughout what was a relatively quick process but made complicated by a quite long chain. She was always helpful in what can be a very fraught and stressful process - at times it felt like she was the person who was keeping the chain chugging along smoothly (her colleague Lisa was also great in all the dealings I had with her) I have much to thank both of them for. In short, ClaxtonBird are what a great estate agent should be - local and knowledgeable about the local NR2 market who work hard and professionally to get your house sold whilst always being friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.

We went with dual agency. The other agency stressed that they always liked to under-promise and over-deliver. They very much over-promised and under-delivered. ClaxtonBird were excellent. They are definitely not stereotypical salespeople, but that is a fantastic thing. Straightforward, honest, prompt in responding to calls, friendly, and very efficient. Without doubt, my best experience of dealing with an estate agent. We sold at the height of the rush to complete before the stamp duty holiday ended, and, as such, there were numerous delays on the conveyancing side (although, Claire Watson at Cozens-Hardy was excellent). Someone at ClaxtonBird was, however, always available to chase up things for us.

The best estate agent I used in Norwich this spring/summer. Honest and reliable. If you are interested in a 3 bed house they will let you know when they have one. If there are 10 other potential purchasers that’s will let you know so you know where you stand. There is always someone to answer your call and emails are replied to immediately. Once I received a reply to say James was off on holiday and he will be back on Monday. So I thought ok, I will hear on Monday and one hour later I had the reply! That’s the type or professionals they are. I will highly recommend them and if I am selling or buying I will use them. Thank you guys.

At the initial viewing Kim was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly; all of which went a long way in considering which property to purchase. During the offer negotiations Julie was fantastic and fair, keeping me updated and sorting the paperwork lightning fast when my offer was accepted. This high level of service continued during the purchase process - the whole team kept tabs on the conveyancing, as well as being just a phone call away should I have any questions. They are very knowledgeable about their market and very good at what they do, which is that they offer a clear and realistic valuation and then with a fair degree of skill (and I believe a very good track record) seek to secure the best possible sales price for you. But this is only half the job; the other half is getting that sale over the line as efficiently and expediently as possible. This is where they have a superstar on their team, the ever resourceful Millie, who is also a brilliant communicator and absoutely on top of everything that needs to happen to guide you through to completion. The women who work at this establishment are lovely. However, James, one of the senior negotiators is abrasive, he walked into our house without knocking, making his way in before announcing himself, then blaming the tennants for not understanding his lack of communication. He had not sent any emails or communication in regards to this viewing. This then meant we were not comfortable in our house, not knowing when he would show up and if he would just make his way in.

We sold through Claxton Bird. From first contact they were professional but personable. Our house wasn't in their normal area, but everything was approached with an open mind. The valuation was sensible and the advert on Rightmove was nice and clear. The open house didn't work so well for our property, but afterwards Darren, James and their team kept the viewers coming in. We sold for the asking price first time, and Claxton Bird handled the logistics with the efficiency you'd expect from an experienced team. We'd highly recommend them to anyone. Claxton Bird were absolutely brilliant from start to finish - selling a house can be so stressful, but they took all the worry away from every part of the process. The whole team were friendly, professional, honest and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The photographs of our house made it look amazing, and every viewing was organised so brilliantly - this was really important to us as we have very young children. They were wonderful at liaising with our buyers, and with the estate agents of the property we have purchased, and kept us up to date with absolutely everything. We won't use another estate agent now. Yes you can pay less elsewhere, however given the unpredictability of buyers and the logistics involved I wouldn't take the risk or want the hassle. Our move was challenging though this was no fault of Claxton Bird. We dealt with Kim a lot in the early stages and James in later. Both were so professional and genuinely nice people. Towards the end, we needed numerous updates given the issues we faced and we got this in spades. The service was excellent throughout the whole process from Darren valuing our property to Kim finding a buyer, to James identifying a perfect house for our next move. We also met Mark at a viewing and Jessica kept regular contact with us regarding the sale and buying process. We can say the whole team always knew who we were and where we were at with the sale and purchase, making it feel like a personal service. A really friendly team who made a potentially stressful time a lot less so. We would recommended them to friends and family unreservedly.
