The guys at city and county are amazing. If you’re looking to rent in Norwich then these guys are the way to go. If you’re a landlord and are looking for an agency then look no further. Exceptional care given to tenants, Simon is always looking out for the property and tenants alike. Kerry is awesome and seems to have a great relationship with everyone. Any issues reported about the property were swiftly rectified. In a couple of cases Simon has come out of hours himself to put problems right. Unfortunately our landlord had decided to sell his property pushing us to buy but our experience in our flat will always be fondly remembered. All thanks to city and county.

I rented through City & County for just over 4 years and I have to say that I had an amazing experience with them! Simon and Kerry were lovely, friendly and always on top of their communication. It was my first time renting outside of University, so they definitely made the whole process easy and enjoyable!

I have had 5 years experience with City & County since I moved into my flat. You would not believe the agents I went through before who took me to houses and flats not suitable for habitation. C&C understand first impressions count and make sure what you want is what you get. They are hands on with the landlords in all their properties, going out of their way even well after hours to make sure the Tennant is ok. Simon and Kerry are two of the most hard working agents Norwich has to offer, and I would recommend City and County to anyone looking to rent in Norwich tomorrow. In fact, would go as far as to say friends. You seriously cannot go wrong with these guys.

Wow!!! Brilliant service!! Moved to Norwich from London and rented with City and County. Simon and Kerry were amazing. Stress free move. They even advised us on schools for our kids. Always available to help and prompt replying within minutes to any queries. Always true to their word. I would recommend City and County anyday. Great service, costumer focus and honest. Give them 5 stars because there are only 5 to give. To any potential tentants reading this I say this.. Want good service?? Then Look no further!! Simon and the team at City and County have been instrumental in helping my partner and I move out of London and setup in Norwich. We originally came across a perfect property in the countryside, but due to lockdown restrictions we were unable to view in person. Simon created a video tour on our behalf and worked with the landlord to negotiate through the difficulties of lockdown. I would highly recommend City and County as a tenant again and again.

I recently moved from London to Norwich and it was not an easy task as I had to travel a few times to view some houses before choosing one that I judged adequate to my requirements. In that process I contacted at least 4 letting agencies in the city of Norwich to view some of the houses they had on offer. I end up renting a house with City & County Residential which not only had a house that suit my needs best but also offered a very friendly and personal treatment. I was particularly pleased with the level of care, openness and honesty I experienced when I met Simon to view the houses. Simon was always very friendly, chilled, helpful and concerned about my needs from the very first stage to contract signing. Always very transparent and honest. I felt valued and respected which for me is very important.

I rented a flat in Norwich for two years through City and County. They were very good at dealing with minor repairs quickly and efficiently. For example, the kitchen drain clogged about three weeks after I moved into the flat. Instead of quibbling over who was responsible (landlord or tenant), Simon came round himself that afternoon and rodded the drains. Problem solved. They also released my deposit very promptly at the end of the tenancy. I didn't have any major issues with the flat so can't comment on how they would have dealt with them, but I certainly found Simon and Kerry to be very approachable, considerate, and easy to deal with.

My first time renting a property outside of university housing and we have found the process of moving in seamless. Kerry and Simon have been incredibly helpful, providing a friendly and professional service which has not gone unnoticed; from sorting issues with plumbing and electrics to making sure we knew all we needed to about the property. Went for a viewing of a rental property, emailed that I wanted to take it on the same day. I didn’t hear anything after 48 hours and rang the office. I then got told I’d be emailed the application and got nothing. An hour later I see said property on a different agents website. When asking the new agent I was told they had been dropped. And I had not heard anything even tho I had chased them up.

Thanks for your review Paul Harmer, I think the clue to why you didn’t get the forms is in your review, a Landlord can choose to use a different agent if they so wish, which is exactly what happened, but for the purposes of being completely accurate, we were not ‘dropped’ by the Landlord, we declined to go joint agency. The property you applied for is very individual and the landlord’s expectations are equally so. He has turned down many applications we proposed as being very viable. Your review states that you asked for the forms, and within an hour you saw it advertised with another agency, I think that is the main reason you didn’t get the application forms, but we will add that better applications than yours had already been declined and we are incredibly busy dealing with property repairs and a huge amount of enquiries from desperate tenants looking for property right now. For the record you viewed the property at 3:30pm on the 8th March 2023 and you are leaving a 1 star review at 10:30pm on 09th March 2023, so your claim you waited 48 hours without hearing is false. Waiting for forms for one working day, while admitting you had seen it advertised elsewhere and giving a 1 star review is quite frankly ridiculous. Please do not contact us in future. Edit: Our records show that you viewed the property on 8th March 2023, and our email sent box shows that you were emailed the application forms on 09th March at 14:48, the email did not bounce back. You did not fill them in and return them. So your timeframe is wrong and if we emailed you the forms, we really cannot see what your complaint is.

Always there when you need them and very professional. Whenever we have had a problem they have fixed it very quickly! Last week our hot water went and they managed to get out a contractor and get the problem fixed within the hour ! Can’t thank city and county enough When our washing machine blew they were quick to sort it and whenever we have needed more information they have been very quick to give it and offer advice. Highly recommend them !!! Have been scammed in the past by dodgy estate agents so it’s nice to know there is an amazing estate agent out there!
