Horrible experience with Robsons! I’ve worked with many estate agents over the years, but none have been as unprofessional and unresponsive as this bunch. Anytime I would call to speak to Marta, she was either ‘busy’ and would call me back (which was a call I never received) or she was in a meeting. But funnily enough, when I was fed up and ended up going out of my way to visit their office, she was always there. They were quick to take our money for the initial deposit, but when it came to a refund it took over 10 days to come back into our account, and for this even I had to chase them up again. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Absolutely rude and disrespectful . I knocked on the door on Friday 17/07/20 . The young woman was sat at her desk and looked at me like she had a nasty smell under her nose . She reluctantly got up from her chair , opened the door with a look of disgust pointing to a sign on the door and telling me i should have phoned. Her manner was rude and unprofessional and snobby because i looked rough and ready in work clothes where as because she is office type i probably would be someone to look down her nose at . Well i promptly told her she was rude and i had no intention of using that business. I was not aware of the sign on the door but i stood back and gave her space as she approached the door with her look of contempt (how dare you knock on the door daring to want to bring us business) My property will not be listed with robsons and quite frankly i hope they go out of business and remember it is people like me that provide your wages If you do not like dealing with the public then get another job or take some lessons in etiquette , absolutely clueless.

We're an Italian couple who moved to London for six months and needed an apartment. We turned to Robsons, apparently because they had good reviews. We found an apartment and immediately made a bank transfer, paying the first month's rent, security deposit, and agency fees (€3,500). Despite the payment, after five days the landlord decided to back out for no reason, and the agency completely ignored the matter, arguing that it wasn't their fault. Wanting our money back, we had to wait another two weeks for the refund, adding insult to injury.

During my renting period, I have had a very bad experience with Robsons. They made the contract just 1 day before the starting date of the rent. On the last day before the rent started they asked for my bank statements. The property's advertisement was still on web sites after I moved in. They are doing the property management as well but I have sent emails and made phone calls about some issues about the property such as the heater in the bathroom is not working, they even did not respond. I had to speak to the landlord and he took care of it. It's understandable that estate agents always care about landlords, look for better deals better tenants but I think this is the one who makes you feel most like you are not any important as a tenant.

We’ve moved to London recently and were clueless on where to start to get a house on rent and our search reached Robsons. I must say we are lucky to have come in contact with James Winter at Robsons who then patiently took us through the process and explained what to expect throughout and after understanding our needs shortlisted one property for us. Quite obviously we were in touch with other letting agencies and in fact with one we paid the holding deposit to freeze a house for us after being told that the owners liked us and have accepted the offer, went back on the word and said we don’t have the house. James took us to the shortlisted property and we instantly liked the house. By then we had seen at least 20 houses with other agencies. That’s the strike rate, that’s the accuracy of expectation matching that James and Robsons had to offer. James then explained us what to expect and clearly laid out the way forward, helped us to make a firm offer that could most likely be accepted and secured the house for us. He carefully noted all the pre tenancy clauses and worked with the owners and us and helped us quickly come to a meeting point on various terms. Robsons clearly are a flexible and at the same time run on strong processes giving great outcomes and a fabulous experience. Thanking our stars for coming in contact with Robsons and finding our fist home in the UK. Thank you!!!

Gary did his very best to find us alternative accommodation whilst our property was being renovated. Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond his control (rather greedy landlords in a very challenging marketplace) he didn’t actually manage to secure us a property. However, this was not for want of trying. He responded to all phone calls and emails in a timely manner and remained friendly, polite and helpful at all times. Should I or any of my friends or family require estate agency services in the future, I would definitely recommend they give Gary a call

I personally rent my house via Robsons but also professionally they are my 'go to' agents. In my job, as support element for one of the visiting forces, I rely on them all the time. Not only do they find me suitable homes for people that are moving here, but also for advice on other cases. They have a lot of knowledge, experience and know about properties that are becoming avaliable that might not be advertised yet. So if you move to the area, do pay them a visit, you won't be dissapointed.

By far the best letting agent in the area from Enquiry to helping you settle down. Specific Call out for Shirley Wells and Helen Marvell who went beyond to make the experience smooth. Shirley proactively kept suggesting various properties which suits our needs and was accommodative of our requests.
