I have just found a house to rent through using this letting agent (Michael Ferris), from start to finish of me searching for a property, to me signing the paperwork, Michael has been professional and supportive throughout. He has made it very easy, from the online viewing which allowed me to see a very detailed, clear view of the property to the actual physical viewing. I didnt feel rushed, and he provided me with thorough information about the property and process. I am very happy with the service i received and would definitely recommend this agent to family amd friends. If i could give more than a 5 star review i would!

From start to finish, the service has been faultless. Communication has been excellent, and all emails answered quickly and phone calls returned promptly. 0 Consideration For Tenants

We viewed a property to let back in September and moved in shortly after, we were promised that a couple of the issues around the property would be resolved by the time we got the keys. On the day of moving in, the damp in the living room had not been resolved instead a piece of MDF had been glued to the wall to cover it up and none of the other issues were resolved as well as new issues including a hole in the bathroom ceiling, holes in the upstairs doors and paint all over the carpets. 5 months on and we still haven’t had any of the issues resolved despite countless attempts to reach out the BJB I have been ignored and my calls go unanswered. I have had a hole in my roof and windows that don’t shut all through winter when it has dropped as low as -9 outside we have had that chill flowing through our house but the staff at BJB do not care and do not want to help. I was pressured on my move in day to leave a positive review and I regret leaving it to this day. Despicable treatment of tenants, how can you leave another person in a property that is damp, full of holes and has windows that don’t shut ?

Fantastic Customer Service

I rang this morning with an initial enquiry and spoke to Jenna Stelfox; I must say that after months of contacting letting agencies; I have a decent understanding of the customer service they offer over the phone which is poor at best. However, Jenna not only delivered the bad news I was expecting (owner will not allow pets) In a positive way but also went the extra mile for me; treating me a valued customer, irrelevant to the fact the property I enquired about was not the one for me. She offered me empathy and had a clear understanding of our difficulties in finding the rite property. She went on to give fantastic advise and explained what she would do for me in this property hunt. I have come away from the call feeling she has set a precedent that other company's should look to follow. I look forward to see if she can find us the rite property. Thanks again Jenna.

Very poor attitude and service

We moved into a property on the 8th November, reported maintenances issues straight away (windows not closing, faulty shower, door handles faulty). We called Butter John Bee Crewe multiple times to chase this up and was passed onto the property managers each time (Lacy and Ben) both said they would sort this asap every time and call back. Each time we have not had a call back from either them and had to re chase this up. We’ve now lived in this rented property for almost 5 weeks, the windows were only just fixed last week and everything not fixed yet. When speaking to the contractors who came out to fix the windows, they had said they’d only been made aware of the issue a few days prior despite us reporting them weeks before. The service and attitude of property management is not great at all. We are paying for a service each month and we’re not getting it, this is absolute ridiculous and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go with this estate agents when looking for somewhere to rent.

BJB have been excellent at managing my properties during this crazy Covid time. Carol Yearsley in particular has gone above and beyond in dealing with the management of properties where tenants have been furloughed or have lost work and have been unable to pay their rents on time. Carol has liaised with myself and the tenants to find a way through and it has been such a great help to both the tenants and myself to have her to sort it!Thanks Carol!
