GoogleAs a landlord, who had numerous bad experiences with previous rental companies, I was looking for an agency who could take responsibility and condult themselves professionally, both with vetting Tenants and managing my property. GoogleThoroughly recommended for tenants. I've rented a Belvoir property for two years -- unlike other letting agents in Northwich, they are very friendly, polite and reasonable. The initial report was very thorough and they always tackle issues straight away.

GoogleI used Belvoir's Rent guarantee insurance. It saved me £7,954.75 A nightmare tenant did not pay their rent, council tax, electric, gas or water for over 10 months. Although they were still working full time as a HR manager throughout the lockdown, they played the system for financial gain. I was able to claim rent arrears of £5,954.75 and legal costs of £1,950.00 to get them evicted. Thank goodness for the insurance. Dec 2020

GoogleWish I could give less! We put £270 application fees forward and a £200 holding deposit too. Failed a credit check due to circumstances out of my control, weren't told about a possible guarantor needed if a failed credit check was to take place, were told that the holding deposit will be refunded or knocked off rent for the first month and now been denied all refunds and have lost out on almost 500 pounds. Will never use these again.
Dear Ben Many thanks for your email. Our application form, which you have duly signed to agree to its terms and conditions, clearly illustrates Belvoir's position on credit history. It is written to protect both yourself and the landlord. For yourself to prevent you getting in further financial difficulty and the landlord to protect their asset. We have to compensate the landlord as the property had been taken off the market pending your checks, in which time someone else could have applied for the property. We're sorry you feel this way but we do ask all relevant questions before you commit to taking the property so you are fully aware of all procedures. GoogleI have been dealing with Belvoir as a company now for some years, what stands out the most to me is how professional they are as a company, especially when it comes to standards of work they expect from contractors and how they never cut corners which is also how I operate. Everyone from the Director James to all the staff in the office are super friendly and are always there to help whether it be contacting Landlords/tenants or dealing with date changes etc etc. I would highly recommend them as a letting agent if you want things done properly.

Moving house is stressful but the staff were very supportive and made the whole thing very easy and straightforward. Direct reviewsI would like to say that we are so happy that the property Letting next door to us is managed by Belvoir. When you live next to a house that is rented, it is always a concern who could be your new neighbours. I can honestly say that Belvoir have always found Wonderful neighbours each time! GoogleAfter having viewed a view rental properties and receiving really non personal responses and no follow up services, it was a breath of fresh air to have found Kerry at Belvoir. From our initial meeting and dealings afterwards she was very professional and friendly. Dealt with all our questions very quickly and was available any time we needed to speak with her. I would definitely recommend their letting service fast, professional and most of all friendly.
