GoogleToby from Your Move was extremely disrespectful rude and dismissive, when I offered him a list of students from Asia I am representing interested in renting accommodations. Instead of showing interest or politely declining, he became disrespectful dismissive and arrogant before abruptly hanging up, before I could explain my private property’s that I wished to be rented, and thus was offering to Your Move Estate agents, which at the time seemed logical as I had both recommended to me on Landlords Forum and also by chance was offering the Student Let. When I called to complain and share details about my rental properties, Toby mocked and questioned me in a mocking manner. I feel I should remind him that he is in a position of customer service and should act as so! Based solely on Toby's poor customer service, I've decided to take my business elsewhere and in addition share this experience on the Northamptonshire Landlord Forum that I am an Administrator of.
Dear Jamie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and provide feedback based on your recent experience with our Student department. I was based in the student department on Monday and heard Toby's conversation with you. As you have stated your initial enquiry was regarding available properties for students who were coming over from Asia. Toby asked if the tenancy agreements would be in the students names or yours. You advised that it would be in your name and that you have already carried out the Right to Rent Checks on the students who were, as of yesterday, still in Asia. Toby then politely advised you that we are unable to facilitate a rent to rent transaction. You questioned why this was the case and Toby responded that it was company policy. In my opinion Toby was not dismissive, rude or disrespectful at any point during the call, but I do feel he could have elaborated as to why we don't facilitate rent to rent's rather than just advise it's company policy. For clarity, we don't facilitate this as it breaches our tenancy agreements and ultimately our landlords instruct us to find tenants ourselves, not rent the property to someone who will in turn sub-let the property out. Otherwise us, as managing agents wouldn't know who is living at the property. I apologise your recent experience wasn't a good one, especially as we'd been recommended to you. In the meantime, I wish you the best of luck in securing a property for your students from Asia, and in securing tenants for your own rental properties. Regards Sean Nolan

GoogleI have worked with/through Your Move Northampton & Towcester for some years now and have always been happy with the professionalism and, very importantly, the communication from all the team while renting out our property. The most recent experience was dealt with very efficiently, swiftly and courteously by Miranda, Gareth, Amy and others - apologies in advance for not remembering every name! Would highly recommend. Updating in 2023 to add Karen Coleman (Letting's Co-ordinator) as another highly recommended member of the team at the Bridge Street Branch in Northampton who continues to provide an excellent service in renting our property.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWhen we starting looking for a student house we had already had around 4 houses that have let us down, your live was very helpful they sent me over 14 houses for us to look at, we narrowed it down to two houses our viewings were with Sandra she was very helpful and answered every question with enough detail unfortunately the first house we picked fell through but luckily our second option was still available knowing how many houses we have been through Sandra did our applications very quickly to secure our house for next year she is very lovely and clearly cares about the people she is helping thank you.

GoogleI had issues with some of the conditions I was given at the end of my tenancy and wasn’t happy initially. But Muhtasin, who was the property manager was willing to help resolve this. He was really effective in his communication and feedback. At the end it was a win-win situation for everyone. It was glad to see someone that understands and cares about tenants renting their property. I wish I had been in contact with Muhtasin from the beginning of my tenancy

GoogleI’ve recently used YourMove for the sale and purchase of a property. They have been extremely helpful throughout the process, specifically Ben the sales manager - he thought outside the box and put a lot of effort in to ensure our sale happened. Also the sales progressor Jessica - there’s not many people in today’s world that actually call you back when they say they will! Jessica always returned my call / email which to me was really important. I would definitely recommend Your Move.
