Evie went above and beyond her job description and nothing was ever too much trouble and whenever a hurdle was met Evie pushed it out the way and just made the whole process easy. I have been in my new property 3 weeks and it’s just the most wonderful place to live. Thank you again Evie and Team you truly are worth you weight in gold.

GoogleWe are first-time buyers and only recently started our viewing process. Sally was absolutely amazing during the viewings. She is friendly, professional, and really easy to talk to. She made us feel completely at ease and took the time to explain things clearly, which we really appreciated. She was well-informed about the properties and answered all our questions with patience and honesty. Her relaxed, genuine approach made the whole experience very enjoyable.

It was a great property so she immediately got the process started and I moved in just a few days later. She even came after her work timings just for the handover so I could move in early. I have rented through Howkins and Harrison for almost two years. From start to finish their staff have been fabulous! Everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently and nothing was ever too much trouble. The letting agent, Lisa Swinnerton, always went above and beyond to make sure my first renting experience in over twenty years wasn’t too scary and I can’t thank her enough. I hope not to need to rent again in the future but, should I need to, I would definitely return to this agents.

In particular Mark Glenn, with whom we have worked work with for over 10 years with respect to our rental property. He has always offered very good and fair advice, when needed and made our life as landlords much easier. And thank you to Jamie, even though we changed our minds about selling! We would always choose Howkins and Harrison's as a rental agency and a selling agent.

Evie Kondracki has been very professional while still being approachable and I could always reach her if I had any queries. From the initial viewing until the signing of contracts it only took a bit over a week and I was able to move into the new property early which was amazing. Having moved into the area after selling our property in Cheshire in 2021, we were hoping to find a property very quickly as we were cash buyers. We wanted to downsize. But then the property market went ‘crazy’. We basically gave the brief to the Ashby team that we would consider anything! They sent us lots of properties via email - Jackie is very efficient - and we eventually bought a small 2 bed semi detached through the Ashby office. The service they gave us was excellent. Although wanting to downsize we knew the house was too small so we spoke to them and gave them a price we would be willing to pay. Again, so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Jackie has been marvellous. A mention too for Andrew. He showed us around most of the properties we viewed. He was also very knowledgable about the Ashby area. We have now found a house. Unfortunately it isn’t one of Howkins & Harrison’s properties but we very much appreciate the excellent service we have received from Ashby office. When we come to sell our current house we will definitely have them out to value it.

GoogleMe and my partner have rented a property through Howkins and Harrison. It was our first rental through an agency and I can say they have been very impressed with the service they provide. In particular Evie… she was so helpful throughout the tenancy; even after the tenancy had finished she had no issue helping us with a reference for a new property. She was always available for any questions and problems we had during our tenancy too. Would highly recommend H&H, and Evie- thank you. X

The only estate agents I’ve ever had a good experience with. We bought our house with them and they were so good and efficient that we decided to sell our house with them too when we decided to sell. Clair went above and beyond to make sure everything was moving smoothly and that we were happy with everything. She always called us back and kept us up to date. Thoroughly recommend!

We live in an increasingly hostile world where often via social media poor feedback is often sited against service providers and conversely good feedback is sometimes overlooked. I recently had the extremely emotional and costly event (in aborted solicitors fees) where my buyer almost at the time of contractural exchange, opted to purchase another local property. To say I wanted to walk away from the whole Conveyancing process would be an understatement. Howkins and Harrison tried so hard to keep the sale but pragmatically accepted that was not an option. Since then they have worked so hard to vet suitable viewers and provided structured feedback. I am so pleased I decided to continue putting my trust in them. I always knew selling my parents home was going to be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but ‘Team Towcester’ have been kind and compassionate from day one. A very special thanks to Martin, Karen and Amy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me every step of the way - I could not have done it without you.

We live abroad and just sold my home in Rugby. At the best of times, trying to carry out this sort of transaction from across the world, is difficult to say the least. However, Robert was amazing. GoogleMy son and his partner regretted their decision to rent with them almost immediately. The property was fine, but the level of service and professionalism from the staff was simply shocking. The staff within the lettings department of Northampton were at least consistent with their lack of desire to help. With hindsight, the warnings were there from the beginning as I had to chase them for updates as the agency never showed any initiative. Once they were in the property, Howkins and Harrison perpetually used the excuse for their poor service that they didn't return calls or reply to emails as they were 'busier than usual', or 'the best person to do anything was out'. When eventually you get hold of someone, they're pleasant enough but don't expect anything they say or propose to actually happen without hours and hours of chasing.

I am extremely happy with her service, and the team. Less than a week it took for Lisa to find a tenant. Vetted and handling all the necessary paperwork. They have always provided a prompt and reliable service, even though I was using them for Tenant finds only. I recently decided to switch to a fully managed service. We tried originally to sell our house but the market isn't great so decided to rent. Mark Glenn at the Northampton office sorted everything out & we had a tenant lined up within a couple of days at the full asking price. He explained the whole process to us being first time landlords & showed us what we needed to do & all the costs involved. We felt fully supported throughout the whole process & Mark made it all completely painless & we look forward to working with Howkins going forward.
