I had a viewing in windmill road gillingham on saturday I was early for my appointment and greeted by sandra. I have had lots of viewings with other estate agents recently but sandra was def the best. Her professionalism was amazing she was very honest which is rare for most estate agents :) and she knew everything about each room before we stepped in it. Sandra's knowledge of the area was great regarding parking near by facilities. Clearly she did her research before the viewing. I feel she is a real credit to the company and everybody should learn from her how to conduct a viewing in a professional way. She should be the face of customer experience for the whole industry not just hunters. I understand this is a sales environment and results won't always reflect how good or valuable a person is but hunters def should invest in this one for long term as the old saying goes people buy from people. My brother and I contacted Hunters recently in relation to a 6 bedroom detached house with extensive parking & gardens in Buntingford Hertfordshire. We arranged an appointment with their employee Laura. My brother and I were so impressed by Laura from our first meeting in relation to her knowledge of lettings. She proved herself to be highly efficient and courteous during the following week and arranged all the certification, photos & floor plans for the letting with the individual contractors and in addition to providing us with beautiful Client brochures posted it on Rightmove within a very short time scale. I would highly recommend Laura and Hunters.

GoogleTotally disgusted at my treatment by this franchise. They decided it was a great idea to include a photo of the entire frontage of my house in sale details for another property they are attempting to sell. Spun a pathetic yarn about not being able to take a photo showing a garage without including my house. Absolute garbage, the garage in question is to the right hand side of the property for sale and my house is to the left side( with my drive in between!), they cropped the photo for a few days then put the original back on the internet. Obviously they want to include my home to paint a picture of a pleasant residential road and they don’t give a damn about the gross invasion of my privacy. The CEO phoned when I requested the photo be amended . I was distinctly underwhelmed, was I meant to be in awe of him? Sadly for him I wasn’t and just see the company as hard nosed scoundrels who will stop at nothing to get a sale. Shame on you Hunters of Filey.

A couple of the sales were not straight forward but they managed to get the sales over the line and and showed great worth ethic and professionalism. Unfortunately, estate agents usually have exclusive rights on properties and if you find a property you really like, you will have to go through them whether you like it or not.It's also likely that you will only see this review when you have already had problems with Hunters, but just in case this helps anyone, here's my recommendation: avoid them entirely, find another property you like if they are managing it exclusively.After I ended my tenancy, they kept me waiting for weeks and weeks without any kind of information. I could've waited to receive the money of the deposit, but I couldn't accept is the complete neglect and lack of updates they put me through. They didn't return calls (when i called they were always busy) and never answered emails.After trying to contact them again and again, they only decided to do something when I said I would take them to the small claims court if necesary, Even with that, they did reply but with lots of nonsensical excuses.After I got my money I found out that the landlord, unlike me, had been in the loop for everything.I wasn't even notified about the meter readings taken on check-out day by the clerk so that I could close my accounts.Why was I treated so differently? Well, simple, they don't care about tenants, only landlords, because they are the ones giving them their cut, not us.Also, the agents were the ones holding my deposit, so the later the better for them. They were clearly not in a rush to return my deposit.Absolutely unprofessional behaviour from a big estate agent that has offices in multiple places. This is a money-making machine with no consideration for tenants.
