I have been so impressed with the professionalism shown by Andrew and his team in the way they handled the sale of my property. It has been like a breath of fresh air dealing with them. I cannot recommend them more highly. Andrew gave a clear explanation as to how he had derived his valuation, excellent quality marketing material (to include a video of the interior) was created and no delay was experienced in getting the property on the market. Melanie and Andrew also personally undertook all viewings so you didn’t have the stress of doing this yourself and if I had any questions proper professional responses were provided quickly. Not once did I have to chase for a reply. This is how all estate agents should operate.

We recently purchased our new house with Andrew and his team at Hunters. They were instrumental in helping us with the negotiations to help to secure the property we wanted and their service from start to finish was excellent. They always replied to emails quickly and answered any queries we had. Nothing was too much trouble and they were really keen to help the purchase progress as smoothly as possible. The 3d viewing tool they have is great and you can move round the rooms looking at those tiny details that you forget once you've done an in person viewing. We would definitely recommend them. One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Awful customer service

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

Andrew Procter and his team recently represented our family in the sale of my elderly mother's house and I cannot speak highly enough of the advice and support the Hunters Skipton team offered us throughout what turned out to be (through no fault of theirs) a very tricky transaction. Even in a difficult market, the valuation Andrew gave was accurate, the marketing of my mother's property was professionally carried out, with an excellent 360 degrees virtual tour which really gave prospective purchasers a feel for the property, and actual viewings were conducted by Mel in a very caring and sensitive manner. Towards the end of the transaction, we also employed the services of Rory and the Hunters rentals team which was extremely valuable and conducted in just the same professional, courteous and caring manner. Indeed everyone we spoke to at Hunters was as friendly and helpful as could be, phone calls and emails were answered promptly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. My experience selling a property in the…

My experience selling a property in the UK with this agent was extremely frustrating. For over four months, they delayed the transaction. Despite my constant follow-ups, they kept giving me excuse after excuse, like mortgage problems or minor issues, saying it would happen next week. Eventually, I told them I would pull out and sell to another buyer, but Matthew insisted I still had to pay. I also want to warn people about this company, be very cautious, because in the contract, they include terms that are unfavorable to the client. Once you sign, they do very little to follow up, and you can’t even be sure if the buyer will complete the deal. Their main priority is just getting you to sign, and regardless of whether the sale happens, they still take your money. And when I tried to back out, Matthew actually threatened me, saying that if I didn’t pay, they would escalate it to other departments. I feel this is a form of intimidation.”

Robot refused to give me a viewing

Awful experience trying to arrange a viewing. Spent yonks on the phone with a robot. It asked me unnecessary questions and misheard things; then had to reconfirm everything. Eventually it was happy. I hung up and it started again this time by text. In the end it refused to let me have a viewing unless I told them my spending budget - which I wasn't prepared to do. Do not sell your property through these idiots.
