Hunters were extremely helpful throughout my time in buying our first home, from setting up our first viewing, to supporting us with communications between solicitors. My journey with the solicitors was nothing short of a nightmare, consistent & vague communications, missed deadlines and a missed payment they issued to me on our completion date, incredibly incompetent. Hunters supported me all the way through this, helped me chasing up vital information, I cannot fault their service in the slightest, they were crystal clear with everything and made my stressful journey a lot easier. James was at the forefront of the support, he was extremely pro active and always made himself available to help. Lisa was extremely supportive & pro active on my completion day, she kept me informed all day of updates from my solicitor and her efficiency to provide these to me as quick as she did, was superb.

Hunters were the agents dealing with the property I purchased. Their communication was second to none. James kept me informed regularly, updating me about how my purchase and sale (even though I used a different agent) was progressing. If I called they answered my queries quickly and efficiently. Hunters were the selling agent for the property we purchased, and the service we received was absolutely first class. Nothing was too much trouble, and James was outstanding with his communication, not just on our purchase, but even on the sale of our own property (which wasn’t even being handled by Hunters!). He truly went above and beyond, doing far more than the agent we had actually instructed to sell our home. He deserves so much credit for getting the deal over the line. One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

I can't speak highly enough of the service that the team at hunters offered, they went above and beyond throughout the selling process. We had a bad experience with one of their competitors and moving across was the best thing we could have done. James kept in constant communication with the viewing feedback and quickly got the house sold. Lisa was then absolutely brilliant in negotiating the lower chain and getting the completion over the line, I don't know what we would have done without her! Awful customer service

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self

First time buyers who finalised in August 2024. James and Lisa were always available when we contacted them and provided us with regular updates throughout the process. James did our house viewing(s) and was really well knowledged in the market, the area and the house itself. Lisa was really helpful with nudging the solicitor along during lull periods. Hunters allowed tradespeople access to the property so that they could price up work in advance of us closing, which really helped us plan ahead with renovation as soon as we got the keys. A bottle of prosecco and tote bag were a nice touch upon completion. Highly recommend and no need to worry when dealing with Hunters!
