I cannot recommend Sam Zahur enough. Sam is incredibly professional and motivated. She really went above and beyond for us in our sale and purchase. Sam was always at the end of the phone when we needed her and relentlessly chased those up the chain whenever it was required without hesitation and never failed to provide us with timely updates. Sam took away so much of the stress of the conveyancing process for us and we are so grateful to her. If you are wondering whether to instruct Sam, do not hesitate!

I have just completed on a buy-to-let property and I am incredibly pleased with the help that Bairstow Eves provided throughout the entire purchase process. In particular, I would like to thank Sam, who was my main point of contact. She was extremely proactive, especially when my solicitors were far less responsive, and even helped push them to move things forward when there were delays. Sam was also excellent at keeping me informed and providing clarity throughout. She regularly called to touch base, and even when there were no updates, she took the time to explain why, which I really appreciated. She remained professional and was also friendly and supportive at all times. Overall, the service was excellent, and I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves to anyone.

Bairstow Eves was absolutely amazing from start to end and our chain was a large chain for them to navigate too. I seriously though have to make a special mention about Sam she was incredible!!!!!!! she was there at a drop of a hat nothing was a problem or inconvenience to her, she even called me to update on a problem that cropped up on her day off. From my very first interaction with Sam, I knew I was in good hands. I initially called to enquire about a property, and she immediately booked me in for a weekend viewing, which was incredibly helpful as I teach at a university during the weekdays. Unfortunately, that property went off the market after an offer was accepted, but thankfully, when it came back on, Sam reached out straight away and arranged another viewing for me. I made an offer the same day, and it was accepted. What followed was a very stressful 10-month process due to issues in the property chain, including multiple breaks at the top. Throughout all of this, Sam was unbelievably supportive, patient, and proactive. She constantly coordinated with solicitors, kept me updated, and made sure everything was moving in the right direction. Today, I’m finally collecting the keys, and it truly wouldn’t have been possible without Sam’s dedication. Thank you so much, Sam, and thank you to David as well for all the support. I cannot recommend Bairstow eves in Coleshill highly enough. From start to finish they made the whole process so stress free. They sold our house within 24 hours of it going on the market. I have to give a special mention to Sam who went totally above and beyond in every way possible. She was available at the end of the phone even on her days off and worked tirelessly to get our property exchanged and completed. The whole process has only taken 9 weeks and that is down to the dedication, hard work and determination of Sam. She is a true true credit to Bairstow Eves. Thank you so much!

Poor quality viewings and service

The Clapham branch sales negotiator was late for the viewing and didn’t ask anyone from the office to notify us (15 minutes late). He had also double booked the appointment, the entire booking was a bit of a disorganised mess. There was a fair bit he wasn’t aware of and generally wasn’t that helpful. The specifications I gave weren’t followed in the viewings. I was ignored when asked if I wanted a broker and my contact information was shared when I had asked for it not to.

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, they come across very professional when they value the house, but once its on the market the staff are unhelpful and take days to answer emails. The details were incorrect online as it was put live without us agreeing the details, the pictures were awful and the one thing we did make them change. There has been no effort to sell the house, only having one viewer in two months. Only to find out that the contract is for 4 months too, devastated. Stay away from this company.

DO NOT TRUST BAIRSTOW EVES, Property Rented Without a Valid Licence

I am writing this to warn other families. My family and I have experienced nothing but stress and chaos since renting a property through Bairstow in May 2026.After moving in, we discovered to our horror that the property was let without a valid property licence. When we raised this serious legal issue, the agency completely absolved themselves of responsibility, blaming the landlord. Under UK housing law, letting agents have a strict legal duty to verify and ensure proper licensing is in place before letting a property.The customer service at this branch is shockingly unprofessional. Particular staff members, Mehmet, Rejaul, and Exene, are completely evasive. They take weeks to respond to emails and refuse to answer the phone. On the rare occasion we do manage to speak to them over the phone, they make empty promises to send over details, only to go completely silent and ignore all subsequent emails.Avoid Bairstow at all costs if you value your peace of mind and legal safety. They take your money and completely abandon their legal obligations.
