From our very first interaction with Kane from Lettings at William H Brown in North Walsham, the level of service we received was outstanding. Moving home can be incredibly stressful at the best of times, but we were under immense pressure to find somewhere quickly due to the unsafe levels of mould in our previous property, which we're now in the process of taking up with our soon-to-be former landlord. Kane immediately understood our situation and genuinely seemed to care about helping us. As we weren't able to attend the initial viewing, Kane promptly sent us a video tour of the property that had already been prepared. This made a huge difference, allowing us to assess whether it was suitable without delay and giving us the confidence to move forward when time was against us. Throughout the entire process, Kane was exceptionally polite, professional, knowledgeable and approachable. Every question we had was answered quickly, clearly and honestly. If we had any concerns he always replied promptly and kept us informed, which made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier. One moment that really stood out was just before we moved in. We had ordered heating oil and had been told by the supplier to expect delivery in around 10 days, which actually suited us perfectly as we expected to have collected the keys and be properly moved in by then. Instead, the delivery was unexpectedly brought forward to the very next day, before we'd even been able to collect the keys. This meant the oil tank was still locked and we didn't have the key to allow the driver access. I contacted Kane straight away, but it was already around 5.40pm. As an HGV driver I was away with work, my wife doesn't drive and at that stage we neither had the keys to the property nor the landlord's contact details. There was simply nothing we could do ourselves and we genuinely thought the delivery would have to be cancelled. Within minutes, however, Kane replied to say he'd already spoken to our landlord, who was on her way that evening to unlock the oil tank so it would be ready for the delivery the following morning. Considering the time of day, we were genuinely amazed. It was a perfect example of Kane's dedication, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble and his outstanding communication throughout the entire process made what could have been an incredibly stressful move so much easier. When we later viewed the property in person it was obvious how well he knew both the property and the process. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. We never felt rushed or pressured. Instead, we felt listened to, supported and valued throughout. Having experienced extremely poor communication and customer service from other local estate agents, particularly Abbotts and Sowerbys, Kane's professionalism was a breath of fresh air. His communication was excellent from start to finish. He always did exactly what he said he would do and we never once felt like we were chasing for updates. It's also worth mentioning Kane's colleague Tom, who was equally helpful whenever Kane was unavailable or busy. Tom was polite, professional and always willing to help over the phone, making sure our questions were dealt with rather than simply leaving us waiting. It was reassuring to know that the whole lettings team was approachable and supportive throughout the process. Kane is a real credit to William H Brown's North Walsham lettings team. His friendly manner, professionalism, knowledge, efficiency and genuine willingness to help made a difficult move so much easier. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us through the process. If you're looking for a rental property in the North Walsham area, we couldn't recommend Kane highly enough. I was the winning bidder for the property and, following the auction which ibs iamsold I was taking steps to arrange the required mortgage documentation and obtain my Agreement in Principle (AIP). There was initially some delay because I later became aware that the relevant person was away on holiday. Importantly, the auctioneer instructed me by telephone to wait until I had obtained my AIP before paying the Reservation Fee. I relied on this instruction and understood that I was following the process as advised by the auctioneer. At no point was I informed that my winning bid had been cancelled and was sold .I only became aware of this when I followed up with the agent yesterday and was told that the property had already been offered to the second bidder. I am therefore concerned that the property was offered to another bidder without giving me any prior notice or opportunity to proceed, particularly when I had been following the auctioneer’s specific instruction regarding the Reservation Fee. I acted in good faith throughout the process and relied on the information and instructions provided to me by the auctioneer. I did not withdraw my bid or indicate that I was unwilling or unable to proceed. I feel really frustrated about this , no proper communication.

I cannot recommend this branch of William H Brown enough. From the moment I called up and registered with them to view a property they had listed for sale I was impressed. I booked viewings for 2 properties and Beth any showed me round both. She was a great mix of friendly and also giving space to have a look round. There was no rushing and she answered all queries I had and also went to the sellers with a question I had and got back to me really promptly. I also had a call from the branch mortgage advisor who was a lovely guy, I didn't catch his name. He wasn't remotely pushy just provided useful information and assistance. My experience with Kane and Tom in the lettings team in North Walsham has been faultless. They worked tirelessly to ensure my property was marketed and ready to go. I had tenants in within a week and was supported and updated by both throughout the process. Both Tom and Kane are professional, relatable and are highly experienced and knowledgeable in their field. I felt so confident with them I opted for the fully managed package due to being away for work a lot. To do this was a massive change and initially I was concerned about being hands off with the process. Kane and Tom quickly built a great professional relationship and entrusting them with my property was definitely the correct decision! From the initial contact with Tom, I felt listened to and was guided through all the paperwork and admin required. What appeared to be a massive job was made easy and quick. Once the property was on the market Kane ensured he kept me in the loop with daily updates as to the interest we had, ensuring I was always aware of what interest was coming in. Within a couple of days they were at the property doing viewings and putting applications forward.
