I would highly recommend using Fraser Reeves estate agents when selling and buying your new home. Everything from start to finish ran like a dream, Sue kept us well informed and made sure she was on the pulse when it came to selling our property, viewings were made very quickly and we sold our house within two weeks! Buying our new home was just as smooth, nothing was too big or small to ask and we were kept informed every step of the way, you just have to look at the properties up for sale around Newton le willows to see how many Fraser Reeves have, this gives you the confidence that you have chosen the right estate agents! When looking to sell my parents home we asked a number local agents to provide valuations including Fraser Reeves. Scott, immediately put us at ease and clearly explained the process and provided valuation in line with other agents. When we explained that we were still waiting for probate which could take a number of months Scott was not phased and explained there was no rush. He suggested it would be good to organise the photos etc. quickly when the house was still furnished and gardens looking their best. Then simply wait a few months before advertising in late December. It seemed a good idea so we took his advice and went with Fraser Reeves The plan worked a dream, By the end of January after multiple viewings, ALL arranged and managed by the team, we had an offer on the table. 12 weeks later the sale completed. I would like to thank Scott and the team for all their help and support. Their excellent and a very professional service made the whole process as simple as possible. If I could give zero stars, I would! Let me first of all put the very human element of this situation into context. I am currently stood outside Wigan Hospital, where I have had to leave my girlfriend and our one day old baby inside so that I could call Fraser Reeves back after a couple of missed calls. Now, going right back to the start all those months ago when our offer was accepted on the house, we immediately started to plan our move. My girlfriend, heavily pregnant at the time, fell in love with the place, and the owner seemed to really like us. It just felt right. The next day we offered the full asking price, which was accepted and the house taken down. We even received written confirmation that the house was ours from Fraser Reeves. We proceeded to tell everyone about the house, showing them the photos and telling them all about how much this was going to help as we currently we live in a one bed flat some distance away from the family. I expected this call to be the one. The one where they would tell us that we'd been given the green light to move into our amazing home after all this time. How wrong could I be?! This phone call was actually one that has turned my world upside down. After first congratulating me on the birth of my baby, Sue went straight in with “well, I've got some bad news on the house". Bad news?! What the hell can she possibly be talking about, you're wondering. After all, as I said, the house was ours, wasn't it? Apparently not. Sue in fact advised me that some random guy had actually gazumped (what a horrible word) us. After digging a little deeper, I was able to establish that Fraser Reeves, whilst telling us that the house was ours, were actually colluding with this guy behind our backs right from the very start. I rang the Fraser Reeves on almost a daily basis, each time being told that my solicitors were the ones causing the delay as the searches had not been carried out. My solicitors, on the other hand, were telling me that to do the searches, they needed the draft letter of contract from the other side (which Fraser Reeves would have known). This went on for months, and of course alarm bells were ringing in my head, however I gave everyone the benefit of the doubt as I tend to trust that everyone is as honest as I am (rightly or wrongly). I am fully aware that gazumping is legal, but how immoral can a company be? Fraser Reeves have behaved disgracefully, weasling around behind our backs for their own, the selllers, and buyers financial gain (I fully believe that the buyer was made aware of the property by Fraser Reeves, i.e. little black book). How do I now go back into that Hospital and tell my missus that the house that she had fell in love with has been sneakily pulled from underneath us, and that she won't get to see out little boy grow up in her dream home? Thanks for leaving me in this situation Fraser Reeves, you are a disgrace. Please be aware that I will be telling everyone about your ways of working and lack of morals, in the hope that people steer well clear of you in future. I mean, who wants to buy a house, only to dread the call where Fraser Reeves tell them they're sorry but the house is not theirs after all?

I had a cash offer from one of their main property investors.. and in 24hrs a sale price was agreed.. you would think that this review was fake, but it really isn't! Me and my partner were looking for our first home as individuals and together! We found the house we wanted and with the help of jack and John at Fraser reeves the whole process ran smoothly. We viewed the property with John who was welcoming and knew all the information we asked for. Jack helped us do the paperwork, application forms etc. And made us feel relaxed, which is exactly what we needed when going through this process that was completely new to us. Due to it being our first home we had so many questions and jack made us feel like no question was a silly one. We were always kept updated and I knew that if anything was worrying me or I needed any info. I was able to email jack and get a reply back in less than an hour. Overall the way we were dealt with was 5* and we’ve been really impressed. We have now got our new home and couldn’t be more happier. Thank you so much to you guys!

Sarah from Fraser reeves came for a valuation and we discussed where to position on price, within days we had pictures taken and photoshopped and online. I was out of the country for two weeks when viewing happened and fraser reeves managed all viewings and feedback and found a buyer in the last few days of my holiday. They also chased up the solictors when that seemed to drag and keep the buyers informed of the process as well. Would recomend to anyone they choose Fraser Reeves
