GooglePhotos of the house were accurate - the representation of size and the condition of the property that we saw online was represented in house. We were not the easiest of customers but they helped us with recommendations for solicitors and surveyor and were proactive in their communications. A special thank you to Lindsey. The viewing was like having a friend show us around and made the house seem more homely (I could imagine having a cup of tea at the kitchen island!). The personal touch shown throughout the process definitely helped to keep us on track with the purchase.

The most unpleasant experience I have ever had with an estate agent. This once market leader has become the worst estate agent in York and it is all down to the attitude of the front line staff. Staff couldn't even answer the phone in a professional manor, never once got back to me and when chased they were rude on the phone. When questioned about their commitment to their responsibilities they became arrogant, even more rude and passive aggressive. If you ever have need of an estate agent, steer clear of these guys, they are the worst.

GoogleWe bought our new home and sold with Ashtons in Newton. Ashtons were the only Agents in the area who valued our property accurately, with the uniqueness and character very much in mind. From initial enquiry to photos being taken and online listing was only a matter of days. A massive thank you to Lindsay and Simon were always on hand to support the process and help with the communication via all the different parties. They also have dog bowl outside the office - what more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

She is friendly, amicable and very helpful, whenever, I have any questions need clarification she is always available and willing to help. She is knowledgeable and professional. GoogleI would recommend using Ashton's to sell your house. From start to finish everything ran smoothly Simon and Lindsay are both very professional. It can be very stressful moving house but using Ashton's made it so easy. The valuation and taking the pictures and getting the house on the market was all done really quickly. The house sold the same day it went on the market. Lindsay kept me updated at all times with the progress of the sale of the house. If you're thinking of selling your house I would definitely recommend you use Ashton's.

GoogleWe sold our house last year with the help of Ashtons in Newton, in particular Simon and Lindsay were extrenely helpful. It was a lengthy process whereby we had to chase the buyer and solicitor many times, which both Lindsay and Simon helped with. Without their support we probably wouldn't be in our new beautiful home. GoogleWe recently purchased a house through Ashtons and they were great throughout the process! Simon and Lindsay were very helpful keeping us updated and answered any and all questions very quickly. Their mortgage broker was also very helpful and although we didn't end up using them we really appreciated the time they took with us and their advice. Would definitely recommend :)
