I wish to never have anything to do…

I wish to never have anything to do with this company, the policies are out date and they have no customer service. Speak with one of their agents in middlesbrough called julia and explain to her that I live five hours away but would love to have a video of the property or photo. Right away I was told no they don't have any photo they can't do a video because their office is 30 minutes away and that it's not a house so I don't need to know what the inside look like.

Prior to switching to Carvers we had our house on the market for 18 months with another estate agent who provided very few viewings and certainly no interaction or feedback. We eventually reached out to Carver after my wife’s family employed them to act on the sale of my father in law’s property. Living close by it fell on me to liaise during the sale and I was struck by their professionalism and the with the short space of time in which the property sold. In fact there was a major issue around the time of completion which David Tinkler skilfully navigated to our great relief. It was during my dealings with David that my mind was made up to switch agents. We immediately had lots of prospective buyers viewing our property and the feedback was exceptional. No doubt the photographs and online marketing plus the regular contact they have with buyers seeking properties made all the difference. The sale eventually came after we received FOUR offers from which we processed to sale with the best. Throughout the whole process special praise should go out to Michelle (Shelly) Pratt, the office manager at the Newton Aycliffe branch for her endless support and hard work and to David Tinkler for his skill and commitment in selling our property and in securing our new home which he was also representing.

Red flags

I came here to research whether this company was worth using, but what I found instead was deeply concerning. Their disregard for customer data privacy is alarming, publicly sharing users' registration dates in response to reviews is completely unacceptable. For instance, they disclosed that Dean Watson registered on June 28th, assumingly without their consent. This is a serious privacy violation and a blatant breach of trust. Their responses to reviews also come across as disrespectful, which speaks volumes about their work ethic. I won’t be using them.

We can’t recommend this estate agents enough. From marketing our property to finding our perfect home, they were with us all the way. Sonia was amazing and talked us through everything that we needed to do to sell our house. She went above and beyond to help us at, what was, a very stressful time. The agents knew the kinds of property we were looking for and informed us as soon as they had anything on the market. We sold our house and bought one with Carvers too which was a great experience from start to finish. We are now in our beautiful new home and love it. We can’t thank Sonia and the team enough. Having fallen in love with a property that we knew would be in demand we needed to sell our property quickly to secure it.
