GooglePaul and the team at Your Move Newton Abbot branch have made the process of selling a family members house incredibly easy and straightforward. From initial valuation by Josh through to completion, their knowledge, communication and professionalism have been exceptional and arranging high volume viewings and interest with excellent marketing tools. All completed swiftly within a very short space of time. Would highly recommend to anyone.

GoogleI used Your Move with the recent sale of our property in Devon. I had submitted all of the paperwork, including a Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) where I explained at length about recent flooding events due to a network issue. Your Move took it upon themselves, to copy that PIQ, remove the very important details and then forge my signature, in what I can only believe to be some sort of an attempt at trying to sell the property quickly, hassle free and using trickery for potential buyers. Your Move accidentally sent the forged document to me, as part of the complaints procedure where I was accused of not declaring the flooding, prior to the property being marketed. It took them 8 weeks to finally offer a derisory £250 compensation, for what amounts to gross misconduct, fraud and forgery. I’d certainly recommend against using Your Move, unless you want to potentially land yourself in a lot of bother in years to come. Thankfully, the information about the flooding had come out through other sources and the buyer did not wish to renegotiate the sale price. Property Ombudsman's Verdict, 21.02.2023 - 'YourMove failed to adhere to the requirements of Paragraph the Code, in that their Representative’s actions in respect of the PIQ were not in line with best practice or integrity, and indicated a willingness to obtain business by methods involving misrepresentation.'
Thank you for your review, we are sorry that this situation occurred but we are glad that TPOS agreed that we handled the situation appropriately when it was escalated though the complaints process and the staff member involved is no longer employed by Your Move.

GoogleMy experience with Your Move started really well with good service from Josh who helped to agree our purchase. However, from there it could not have gone much worse. We traveled from over 200 miles on a weekend for a viewing, only to be told that the estate agents had not communicated this to the sellers. We ended up waiting on the doorstep waiting for 30 minutes as the sellers were out enjoying their weekend. The communication from the team was exceptionally disappointing and we found Vicki (team manager) to be extremely rude. Eventually our purchase fell through and this was the last we heard from Vicki even though she was fully aware of our criteria. I would highly recommend avoiding Your Move if you are looking for a successful purchase or sale.
We have investigated your comments and can see that your concerns were dealt with via the branch some months ago now. The Newton Abbot team were always upfront with you and explained from the point of you making an offer that if the Vendor could not find a property to buy this transaction could not proceed. We are sorry that you had your heart set on a property and unfortunately it did not work out. We wish you all the best for the future.

GoogleI have been using YourMove services for 17 months now through the letting side of life and Laura & Reece have personally ensured everything ran as smoothly as possible. As for having to find somewhere new to rent in a short period of time, the team really supported this difficult transition, they were very personable, understanding and we'll, Reece has gone above and beyond to support me, absolutely adore him for being professional yet friendly with his personal flare!! GoogleWe have had a first class experience when dealing with all the people we have interacted with so far at Your Move Newton Abbot. We are in the process of purchasing at the moment, and without exception everyone has been polite, friendly, helpful and on hand to answer any questions or queries we have had. Paul in particular has been looking after us very well with viewings and transacting for us with the vendors, and also so has Vicky who has been on hand to very capably assist when I have a habit of ringing on Paul’s day off! Also we would like to acknowledge Laura the lettings manager and her colleague Reece who are equally friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable every step of the way be that on the phone or face to face. Finally a thank you also to Chelsey who has been very helpful with looking into mortgages for us and again has been friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. You have been a star as well! Right from our very first interactions with the staff at the branch we would have no hesitation in recommending the entire team at Newton Abbot to look after you, and your property needs, be that buying, selling or for lettings and mortgage services. GoogleI had been trying to sell my house with Purple Bricks for several months with no result. Eventually I put my house on the market with Your Move and it was sold stc within a week to the first viewer for a good price. The photographs were professional which is very important (not like the amateur mobile phone pictures taken by Purple Bricks). Paul was most helpful throughout the selling process, keeping me informed and getting solicitors moving. The moral of this story is DO NOT USE PURPLE BRICKS they cannot sell houses despite their Trustpilot reviews. Use a proper high street agent who are more effective and you will end up getting a better price for your house.

GoogleHad a recommendation to go and see Holie the independent financial adviser based in the your move offices in newton in regards to a new mortgage i found her very professional with an enthusiastic approach to getting the right mortgage to suit my needs and lifestyle. Holie was informative and knowledgeable throughout even going out of her way to send me updates on her days off. I would recommend her to any one who wants to look into a mortgage
