I had a really bad experience with Stone Young. At the start, they were very professional and convincing, which made me choose them over other agents. However, once I signed the contract, things changed completely. Communication became very poor, and it felt like they no longer cared about the sale process. I often had to handle appointments myself, and once, a buyer even showed up at my house without any notice or anyone from the agency accompanying them. There were also many last-minute cancellations. As a result, the property stayed unsold for over four months with just one offer, which was far below the asking price. To cancel the contract, I had to give 28 days’ notice, during which time they did nothing to help. Things got even worse when I decided to let the property instead of selling it, they tried to pressure me into letting it through them and attempted to undervalue the rental price without giving any reasonable justification. My advice is to avoid this agency completely. I deeply regret choosing them and hope others don’t have to go through the same bad experience.

I’ve found the team extremely difficult to deal with. Whenever I ask a question, they either don’t respond, forget to follow through, or patronise me when I raise something that needs attention. Harriet even hung up the phone on me while I was speaking politely, simply because she couldn’t be bothered to deal with me as a customer. When I ask to speak with Joane, someone else always calls back instead, so you never actually get clarity. Overall, the whole experience has been unprofessional, frustrating, and disappointing. I’m not surprised at all by the other 1-star reviews on trust pilot. Dont forget that the 5 star reviews on Facebook and google are not verified. I found it surprising why the reviews are high on one end and on the verified pages, so low! Happy to provide named and direct reviews if needed.
