This was the first time we came across Start & Co as we planned our move ‘down country’ to Cornwall. We fell across our dream home in Lusty Glaze and put in an offer, Bradley mediated between us and the seller and we got to an agreement. Bradley was absolutely amazing, like no other estate agent we have dealt with in the past, we were in constant coms via watsapp , at times the chain almost broke below us but he kept smoothing the waters and we got there . 100% recommend Start & Co taking the stress out of moving home.

I have rented through Start & Co for over 8 years now and can not fault them. They have an amazing team who are accommodating, friendly and responsive. Gary has looked after me and my family for the last 8 years. As my family expanded, my needs changed and Gary was on form and would always deliver with the ‘perfect property’. I have rented a unit from Start and Co for over 7 years, having just sold the business and passed on the lease with it. From dealing with Brian and then his sons, I have found them quite unusual in the world of estate agents (in my experience anyway), being helpful and honourable, and sticking to their word. They helped repair issues with the property although knowing the lease was full repairing and insuring- meaning they could have easily reminded me of my obligations and not helped. They were easy to deal with when renewing the lease, were very realistic about rent increases (not changing them for the whole term) and were encouraging and helpful with the new owner. I am happy to say that I would not hesitate to use them again, and like to give positive feedback when it is deserved.

From the outset I was impressed by Bradley Start’s impressive professional assessment of my home in Newquay and his awareness of the property market as a whole. Following his initial visit to my apartment, he arranged for two photographers to record a virtual tour, compile a folio of photographs and record drone footage showing the fantastic location of my home on the cliff overlooking Fistral Beach. Within just a few days the property was advertised on both local and national platforms including Rightmove and Zoopla. The description, images and well-judged asking price prompted an immediate number of responses. Within a single day Bradley selected a potential buyer from those who showed interest and a viewing was arranged for the following morning. Bradley ensured the potential buyer from London was committed before they travelled to Cornwall and everything went smoothly with an agreement to purchase being signed after the viewing. From then I continued to be informed of how all the arrangements were being made. I wanted a quick sale so that I could reserve an apartment in a new build in Bournemouth and Bradley made all of that possible. He liaised regularly with the salesperson for Inland Homes who says that never before had she been kept so well informed by an estate agent managing a buyer’s sale of a property. The buyers of my Newquay apartment have told me they are delighted with it, and equally I am delighted with my new home in Bournemouth all of this made possible by Bradley’s meticulous attention to details at every stage. The asking price suggested by Bradley was spot on and the regularity of his communication with me, the buyers, conveyancing solicitors and so on was exemplary. Very Impressed. Would not hesitate to recommend Start and Co. From beginning to end they have demonstrated a superior level of understanding of the Newquay property market, the mortgage market and the psychology of different types of property purchaser.
