The whole team at MoMove were a delight to deal with from start to finish. I sold my property with them and our new property purchase was handled by them too. Zoe was fantastic at setting up my sale, presenting my property particulars to the highest quality and Emma was brilliant at taking us all through the process, ensuring everyone was kept up to date and on track. Momove essentially sourced me a fabulous opportunity with a vacant old bungalow with sea views in Newquay. Yes, it needs tons of work but I have the right people around me for that. I can't recommend Mo Move highly enough, their fixed fee blows most other firms out of the water cost wise yet the service they provided was still outstanding. Phone calls always answered, emails returned very quickly and updates at every stage. Their extended opening hours add to the time they are available. Abby was brilliant as my main contact but on the rare occasions she wasn't available Zoe and the rest of the team also provided incredible service. Quite simply, don't use anyone else!!!

From day one, Zoe was excellent. This was our first time selling our home and we didn't know what to expect, especially with Covid going on. She produced a great write up of our house with fantastic photos, arranged viewings and we had accepted an offer within 4 days of the listing going live. I’m sure from a Landlord/homeowner’s point of view Mo Management are great. From a tenant’s perspective however, quite the opposite. Properties are ‘managed’ by a wet wipe who calls himself Chris but who's real name is Sydney. Takes literal months and constant reminders to get any sort of repair or maintenance work done. Had a broken hoover for 5 weeks, no internet for 4, a badly leaking shower for 6 weeks and a bathroom window that wouldn’t close for the whole of winter and probably still isn’t repaired to this day. Always an excuse. When Mo took over the property my car had failed it’s Mot quite miserably. It sat idle for a couple of months in parking space included in my rent whilst I saved up the money to have it repaired. I was forced to sign an additional document threatening that if I didn’t have the car seemingly in use by a certain date, it would be removed and I could be evicted. This put unnecessary stress on my partner and I. Thankfully, my car was fixed and Mot’d before the deadline. Even so, as my job and the local shops were in walking distance, my car still sat in the parking spot unless we went for a day trip etc. So this extra clause seemed just pointless. Had a right mess when leaving the property. Chris or Syd or whatever claimed that he didn’t receive our email giving notice of ending tenancy and that ‘email is not a valid form of notice’ (in this day and age, really Syd??) despite accepting notice in form of email from other tenants and that unless someone moves in, we would have to pay another months rent. When confronted on this, he just walked away. My girlfriend now crying tried to talk to him but Sid was for some reason intimidated by me and shouted ‘ARE YOU THREATENING ME!?’ and then he left leaving me completely baffled. Extremely unprofessional. (In hindsight, we didn’t help ourselves in this situation by not following it up sooner but in our defence, it was Christmas time and we were busy with work and travelling long distance home for the holidays. Also you kind of expect a property manager to be quite on top of emails/communication) After that it was decided that all contact with Chrisney should be through my girlfriend until we had got our deposit back. Luckily someone moved in sharpish so we didn’t have to pay for another month. Conclusion; Mo Management are an appalling property management company. Future tenants beware. Zoe was extremely professional, friendly and experienced and we would highly recommend using Mo Move for a house sale. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She kept us up to date with the progress via emails and telephone and we could always get hold of her quickly when needed. She would always reply promptly to any questions or queries we had and this included answering questions during the evening or weekend. No other estate agent offers this so it was great having a quick response without having to wait days to get a reply. A fixed fee payment is great as there are no hidden costs. Zoe is a genuine lovely lady who I will be recommending to anyone who is looking to sell. Highly professional, experienced, and competant. Chris of Mo Move Newquay was handling our property enquiry. We went to a competitor as well for a viewing where we were treating like a number, multiple people viewing a the same time, very impersonal. Chris on the other hand met us at the property and the difference in the treatment and experience was like day and night. He did a viewing with just us and when we said we want to apply stopped viewings on the property. He then did the online vetting process which was easy and painless, the best I have experienced. He even was willing to speak to me after hours about a few questions we had. I saw he got a few bad ratings but I honestly our experience was fantastic.
