GoogleDan at David Ball was the main agent I dealt with. From the property viewing at the beginning of the process all the way through to completion, he was there helping me navigate and answer questions. I felt like we were a team in driving the sale and he was always contactable or returned a call when I needed some help. Really great service and I would use if we ever decide to sell as well. GoogleI’ve been reading a lot about them and hearing a lot about them. Same stories over and over. My personal experience is they didn’t return a deposit that should have been returned. I’ve heard two more friends have the same. One other friend did some work for them and then they never paid. Not a professional / honest company. I have since used another local estate agent and had a much better service.
Hi Victoria, thank you for leaving your review. As you can see from the high majority of our reviews we care deeply about our customer service and pride ourselves on professionalism and honesty. Any deposits in regards to lettings are registered with The Tenancy Deposit Scheme, who provide a free tribunal service allowing tenants to dispute any amount we have not returned. This makes it not possible for us to withhold any deposit without good fair reason. We have been in business for 30 years this year and have incredibly strong working relationships with other local businesses and sole traders within the town, if you would please get the friend to contact me as I do not believe we owe any contractor any money. We were notified of every viewing, cancellation, re-arrangement & feedback including advice on offers. From Sale Agreed through to exchange & completion we were were fully informed.
