GoogleWe bought a C G Fry property at Nansledan, Newquay. Right from the word go Marcus and Amanda were friendly and very helpful. They took us for a number visits to look at the property for measuring up etc.
Even after we moved in they rang to check everything was ok and contacted the site manager to sort out a couple of little problems for us. Great team.

The referencing was done in a day and check in was quick and easy. Had a few small teething problems as any property does when you move in but Louis was quick to help and sort ASAP. GoogleReally rushed viewing, hardly had time to put my shoes back on before being hurried out the front door. Applied for the property but they didn’t even bother letting us know that we hadn’t been successful. Awful experience wouldn’t recommend.
EDIT: In response to the reply that our application was successful and they tried to call us several times, this is completely false. We had no missed calls and no voicemails. Surely if you can’t contact someone by phone you would just email them? Load of rubbish.

Regarding the property you viewed we tried contacting you via phone multiple times and left a number of voicemail messages in an effort to inform you that your application had been successful. We held the property for two weeks while we tried to reach you before proceeding with the landlord's next choice.
We apologize that your experience fell short of your expectations, and we understand your frustration however we feel in this instance it would have have been different should you returned our calls. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our processes and communication moving forward.

GoogleThroughout the transaction we were left on the sidelines - we had to constantly chase - the agent only wanted to work with the seller - even telling me at one time that the seller was the one paying them!! They refused to allow us an in person walkthrough (twice) they misled us on the walkthrough via video and stated something which we later found out to be untrue. After delaying the completion for several months they then dictated the completion date without any discussion with us first, We found out this was due to a contingent purchase on a new build (when we were told there was no chain) When we could not meet it due to a pre booked holiday we were threatened with cancellation. We were cash buyers yet it took 4 and a half months from offer acceptance to completion. It would have been nice to have been treated as a customer and bing guided through the minefield of buying a house - instead it was nothing but stress for us. When we accessed the house after completiong they leave you a card paying you a £10.00 M &S voucher once you leave a review

We do disagree with the issues in your review, to say we left you on the side-line and did not treat you like a customer when our team member had regular numerous conversations with you (via email at your request), including multiple out of hours to accommodate your different time zone. The fact that the vendors position changed during the sale, due to financial reasons, is not something within our control which we did communicate to you at the earliest possible opportunity. We never refused to allow walk throughs of the property on your behalf, the vendor would not allow us entry on the times you put forward which again is something out of our control. Regarding the completion date, the “threat” of cancellation came from the vendors ongoing purchase, which is not something either of us could exert influence over. We hope you love your new property and enjoyed the bottle of bubbles welcoming you to the area and your new home.
