Me and my partner have been looking for a mortgage for around a month now & after being messed around by several mortgage providers we had a property viewing with Maisie and she was absolutely fantastic in taking the time to understand all of our concerns. Maisie put us in touch with Richard the mortgage advisor and within a couple of phone calls we had a mortgage in principle and ready to purchase our first house! Me and my partner are absolutely blown away by how friendly and how amazing all of the staff are at hose rodes Dickson! Nothing is too much trouble and they go the extra mile unlike other estate agents on the island! With this in mind we are now only looking to purchase our first home through this amazing team! Maddie was fantastic at helping us with our sale recently. She came round to value our property and ensured we were happy with everything before proceeding. Louise and Katie helped to keep us informed too. It was never too much trouble to answer the phone or pop us an email. We sold within 4 months and completed in a chain of 5 within 11 weeks! Maddie did a lot of chasing to the different solicitors to make sure we were all at the same stage and happy with progress. Even up to the day of exchange she was keeping us calm and informed. She knew how stressful it was with our two young children and she made them feel at ease too - thank you! Would highly recommend Maddie (and HRD were good too!) Thank you for all of your help - even after the sale she’s still been happy to helping with passing keys etc around! We can recommend HRD Freshwater highly. The sale of our house was complicated and protracted due to external issues. Peter and Beth were always kind, patient and understanding when all was very stressful they helped us see the light at the end of the tunnel. Always professional but clearly cared, it felt a very personal service. Not a car salesman type approach that some estate agents offer, we felt valued customers and that you do not see in an estate agent very often.

Have been in my property managed by this company for nearly 8 years now. I have had many conversations over the years with property maintenance for general repairs such as fencing or leaking taps etc which has sometimes been slow in progress but the job does get done. I do however want to express my sincere thanks to Heather in particular in this department over an ongoing issue we have been having which was progressively worsening, Heather took the time to visit my property in person and went to great lengths in discussions with my landlord and maintenance team to get a prompt resolution when I escalated to her again recently, she went out of her way to keep me posted at every stage and I am very grateful for this. It is now completely resolved and the end result has surpassed any expectations. The maintenance team that worked on our home went above and beyond when completing the job and did their best to work around me and my family.

I cannot praise all the staff at HRD' Newport office.

HRD came with a strong recommendation from someone local whose opinion I value. Throughout my dealings with all staff at the Newport office and the agent who showed me the apartment, I have only the utmost praise. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and ready to pass that on when I had questions and even when I didn't but needed to know something. As a result I have signed up a continuing relationship with HRD in Newport as my Letting Agent. The agents who provided the most personal assistance throughout the purchase and the setting up of the Letting agreement were Louise O'Rourke who, as soon as I made an offer, contacted the seller while I was in the office and we arrived at a deal. Having no delay was unlike my experience with other agents during my property search. Following that while my conveyancer was at work locally when I returned to my home in the U.S., Maddison Jackman stood back when there was no need to be in contact, but prompted me politely when I really needed to call my conveyancer to expedite some detail of the process. Kayleigh Kent, Lettings Manager was the agent who actually put me in touch with the property when I was enquiring about the terms of HRD's Letting Agreement. Since then she and her colleagues Jamie and Lloyd have been as helpful as they could possibly be. This is very important to me; when you are 4,000 miles away, it is important to know that you can trust the people you deal with. ALL the agents in the Newport office have been exactly that.
