TrustpilotSavills photographers unlawful practice.
To start off with if I could give minus stars I would. I am selling my Mothers bungalow on another auction site. Up to now the buyer and I have exchanged contracts but completion has not taken place yet. The buyer decided to take the law into his own hands and change the locks on my mothers property, he also put the property that he doesn't own yet on Savills auction site, by chance I come across my Mothers property on Rightmove with photographs outside and inside the property, I contacted Savills to tell them the property does not belong to the person who had asked them to list the property on their site. I spoke to one of the reps who's name was Jay, he apologised and said he would have the listing removed, which he did. I then spoke to Ralph Mendes da Costa, I informed him that the photographs taken inside the house and round the back of the house were taken illegally because the person who listed it does not own the property yet. I asked Ralph to tell me what details were supplied to Savills regarding the ownership of the property and the perspective sellers legal right to sell it. He said once contracts are exchanged he has the right to sell it. I am not disputing this because I am unsure of the legalities of it. Ralph asked for my email address so he could send me a response, so far I have not heard anything. I am going to seek legal guidance on this because Savills photographers have entered my Mothers property illegally and taken photographs of her personal living space without permission because she is still the legal owner of the property. Friday the 16th Feb 2024 my son phoned Savills and asked about the property and the response he got was yes its still for sale, how can this be explained, from a big company like Savills this should not be happening. In my opinion this is no better than breaking and entering and trespass at the least, I will leave that up to a legal representative.

TrustpilotThe most appaling company to work for
The most appaling company to work for. I was put on a new homes site to work with no lighting I had to walk 15 mins in the dark to the train station in fields. A female lone working then to add insult to injury made to fill out a H&S assessment saying I had been given a personal alarm that I hadn't been given to meet their H&S lone working requirements! There was no internet and then I signed up house sales with absolutely no training oñ Savills paperwork and yet still sold houses for them showing their customers broken tile examples. I left after a few weeks trust me the name Savills is not associated with Quality and as for management support one manager was on holiday abroad the whole time I worked and the other was off sick the whole time!

Victoria at Savills Newbury was a pleasure to deal with. She was highly professional and most importantly kept in constant touch and was always available either directly on the phone or by email. Our move was quite lengthy until exchange but the entire team at Savills were very calm and nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend them to other homebuyers. Thank you all very much.

TrustpilotGreat experience
I've had a great experience with Savill's Clerkenwell. The rental has been very good in general, and property management flawless. All the staff have been great, and my current property manager, George Pride, has been totally on top of things. All issues have been sorted quickly, professionally and without any hassle. Can highly recommend.

Sue was very good at keeping us informed of the progress with the sale which was dragging on due to external influences. Earlier on when dealing with another colleague, I felt I was having to do the chasing but it was much better when Sue took over and she made a massive effort to make sure everything was put in place for us.

TrustpilotShockingly poor service
Shockingly poor service. Please beware if Savills are the property service agents ie taking care of the entire building block. When you want to sell/buy a property then they are supposed to provide a management pack and are paid for it. For us it has been over 43 days and still nothing from them. Without the management pack we can not proceed and the process is stuck. There have been several chaser emails but still nothing.Am trying to figure out who is the senior management to contact to expedite this matter.Update- after writing this review the pack was provided within 6 hours. Thank you to Trustpilot.

TrustpilotSo Poor in service and good to lie
Since they delete or not approve any 1 star review in Google review so here is what I mentioned !Well, Honestly I am shocked as I am the very first one star of the review. As it seems the lovely team of Savills in Esher was just ignoring me ! I would start by few names. The property presented to us by Lauren William, at the beginning she was helpful and helped us to move into new place ASAP, but when we take the keys, the flat was dirty, and was not hand over as agreed and she tried to ignore all of the emails or send us to someone else (which you might think it would be normal as she might be a sales person) but she took it into another level of ignoring us when we are in the office or try to reject us in possible way. It's like a personal hate or something which is quite racist act. Then we handed over to young lad called Tom Bennet, I have no idea if this was his first job or have some connection that lead him to stay in this job as I have never seen this level of low understanding of his responsibility could stay for such a long time. for every single request regarding the problem in flat he took his time such as 4 months solving the mould issue for brand new flat, 3 months for fixing door, 2 weeks for rats, 3.5 month for the collapse of patio wall (yes I am talking about a brand new flat in ESHER !) and last but not least delaying the refund of deposit by lying about landlord is on holiday over 6 weeks and as soon as I open a dispute it become available and refunded in 3 hours !!! I barely comment on people or agency but this agency has officially earn the first place of making my life terrible and have the most terrible experience and lead to terminate my contract by fighting back and forth over 3 months. The only person in this branch I am glad to face was Shoeni Oates, even though it was not her responsibility in the first place she patiently listen to the situation and helped us to terminate the contract earlier than agreement not to mention that property manager (Tom Bennet, The guy !) ignored my 15 called and three voicemail over 4 weeks after checking out and she chased him to give us update. There is no doubt Savills is a good agency in general but the people assigned to help us rent and maintain the place were lazy, not responsible and try to delay or dismiss any problem as much as they could by lie, not providing enough evidence or do not care to understand our situation. another example of that was we were living in brand new flat with terrible living condition due to lack of proper understanding of the owner (which was JET investment Company) about using good material or selecting right contractor, whoever came to fix anything in flat could barely speaks English and whatever repair taking place after extra delay and lots of negotiation, there problem lead to bigger problem. Imagine how confident was the landlord's contractor that he told us if feel cold in winter you can go to Dubai and believe it or not Savills and Landlord forced us to open window for the freezing winter in 2022 to reduce the mould, the area of the flat was 30m2 and rate of mould was that high that most of our cloths we through it out and they somehow believed by turning on toilet fan and open the bathroom door + turning on kitchen hood air circulation would be done !) Yes, they try to teach me as a person who hold PhD in structural engineering how things works !Cut the story short, I had a terrible experience because of lack proper skill needed by Savill's people who are assigned to the right job therefore I am giving 1 star, only and only for the Shoeni otherwise (-5 star was too generous for the hell we went through). **For those who get upset that I mentioned the names, there is a reason, if people not understanding their responsibility or taking advantage of their position someone need to mention it. and That's what I did and Hope they use my experience to improve themselves.**

TrustpilotWorst block management company, very unprofessional
Savills took over management of our luxury estate in Paddington a year ago and, sadly, transformed it into an environment that feels closer to a neglected urban area. Despite our repeated attempts at civilized conversation and requests for resolution of pressing issues, Savills has consistently let us down. One of our main concerns is the staff's professionalism, or lack thereof. Their working hours seem limited, they fail to respond appropriately to reports of illicit activities within the estate, and they've even resorted to blocking communication from residents who've raised issues.Adding to our frustration is their habit of hiring friends and family members for key roles. Our gardening and maintenance services, for example, have noticeably declined in quality due to lack of commitment and competency.Security in the estate has also dramatically worsened under Savills' management. Despite being promised 24/7 concierge and security, we've experienced periods with no security officers present during the day. In one alarming incident, an intruder managed to enter a flat and cause distress to its inhabitants by getting naked, peeing on a bed and attacking the husband of a pregnant lady. Despite clear evidence, Savills denied any culpability for this incident.Cleanliness is another casualty of Savills' lackluster management. Rats in the bin rooms and persistently dirty common areas are now common sights. Lifts and entrance doors remain broken for extended periods. The final blow came when Savills decided to inflate our service charge by 40% upon their impending departure. It appears they're trying to make a final financial gain before we replace them with a more professional agency. If you know Savills manages a residence you're interested in, my advice is run away. Instead of enjoying the comforts of our flats, we residents find ourselves investing significant time and energy into resolving issues that Savills should have addressed. Their unprofessional conduct borders on the criminal, from facilitating unsafe conditions to taking our hard-earned money without providing the services we've paid for. This review could be a novel, but to sum it up, Savills staff are unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude. You go higher up the chain, and they all protect each other with no accountability for anything. I really cannot wish anyone to have to deal with Savills. But honest hard-working people will eventually win as we keep hearing news about how they're getting removed of many estates for their unprofessionalism.

TrustpilotThink Twice ! If you are about to rent an accommodation managed by Savills. I lived in Sienna House Sutton, their 'don't care' attitude drive me nuts
Think Twice ! if you are about to rent an accommodation managed by Savills. I lived in Sienna House, Sutton. All the issues or bad experience stem from their 'who cares' attitude as rental properties in Sutton are in high demand. Also, they use Community Utilities (CU) as the sole utilities provider at Sienna House which drove me (and a lot of other residents) NUTS.- I paid a higher price for an apartment with a bigger terrace, however, there was hygiene issue (pigeons) in the terrace. I could not even open the window next to the terrace because the feathers and the droppings of the pigeons. I reported /complained in March 2022 and it was not resolved (in fact, Savills did NOTHING ) until I moved out in early 2023. The residential team was very sophisticated in testing tenants' patience and let you give up. They knew that moving house is not easy especially when there was a high demand in rental properties. They were so kind to potential tenants when conducting site visit so that they always have a long waiting list but they will change their masks again when dealing with existing tenants- The sole utilities provider was Community Utilities (CU). They charged me ~390 GBP for the first 19 days. Apparently, it was wrong and it took months to get it corrected. During that time, I sent many emails and phone calls. Like Savills, they were good at testing my patience and resilience. There were many other cases of overcharge, non-issue of bills and then giving tenants surprises ....(search CU at Trustpilot and you can see other people feedback)- Community Utilities did not give the residents the credit of government energy support in the monthly bills since Oct 2022. It was only until late January 2023 when UC provided the tenants a link to the government website to apply the support directly. However, my application was declined by the government because I longer live in Sienna House when I applied. The website emailed me and asked me to contact UC to arrange. When I contacted UC (several times), their only answer were : Please apply through the government website. I felt like I was talking to robots. I was stuck now and lost several months of government energy support. The point about Savills was, when I moved out of Sienna House and applied for the refund of my rental deposit, Savills asked me to either (1) settle the last month of utilities bill in full issued by UC (note, no energy credit was ever given in their bills !) and provided the proof or (2) let Savills deduct the outstanding utilities bills and refund the balance. When I said to Savills that I will settle the bill by the deadline directly with UC because it is a matter between me and UC, Savills said No REFUND will be sent to me until the utilities bill was settled. With that, I suspect that UC (Savills also named it 'Amber' ) and Savills were related companies. Now, when I emailed UC (cc Savills) asking for help regarding the missing energy support, Savills acted like they were non-exist (note ! Savills was super helpful to UC when collecting the money from the last utilities bill). Savills and UC were a perfect combination in testing my patience and stress tolerance. Should I just regard myself as unlucky and let go while all of my friends have already received 400GBP support already by end of March 2023 ?I am keen to see whether Savills will take my feedback seriously and try to help. As a tenant of Sienna House, I had to use UC, not at my choice at all. I hope Savills will provide me with a practical way of contacting someone who can really help (not the residential management team at Sienna House because I have given up on them)

TrustpilotCorrupt Contractors, And Corrupt complaints department
My dealings with Tunbridge Wells Savills, wasn't the best, I reported boiler issues in July, and by December after 10 visits from Billy from The Mcalpine Group, I become suspicious and refused access, upon further checks, He had no GAS safety Card and was performing illegal boiler works, They also instructed a non trading company ''Warner Hurst Property Maintenance Limited '' what files dormant accounts from the date of registration to install, Dangerous cheap Chinese carpets. When I had reported such issues to Savills, Dianna was very helpful in the beginning stages providing lots of help and advice, to she was told off by managers , and told JAS and FIONA would take over then attempted a cover up.They shared rude internal emails about myself, and commented on a checkered passed, When in-fact Savills also have a checkered passed, they spent millions of pounds at Garden Court Chambers paying KC's to remove news articles where Savills have been connected to multiple property frauds in the hundreds of millions, and are currently trying to Pay off Barclays £14M in a property mortgage fraud as well as HSBC £11M in a separate fraud, As well as ongoing cases with JP MORGAN and Lloyds Banking Group for other frauds, Savills are also connected to a fraud relating to the Royal Family, but once again settled millions out of court. ( all of the above are available to see in publicly accessible court transcripts & archived news reports ) Tamsin @ Savills also challenged me and biged up their contractor list. There contractors have shady company formations and Savills use them to charge the most out of landlords. £1500 for cheap Chinese carpet is not acceptable, and Work invoices sent to companies what are dormant and non trading is a criminal offence, and Gas works sent to engineers whom don't have the qualifications to touch a boiler. In the end, after Billy from The Mcalpine Group, attended over 10 occasions to inspect a Gas Boiler he over priced several boiler parts what didn't fix the job then when I reported he had no Gas safety certificate, there was no evidence to support he touched my boiler claimed Savills, infact he had sub contracted work, to a plumber who did, When I had informed Savills of my ring door bell, there position has changed to we will no longer discuss this matter with you.Overall, rental process was stress free, Faith Lewis was speedy with sorting issues out at the beginning stages, The mistake I made was making a offer before seeing the property. The Tennant was being awkward and not allowing access, so I went ahead and made an offer. This was used against me when issues did arise. No one showed any remorse, When several mistakes was made, Tamsin, instructed me in emails on the 19th of December, when I had informed her; her contractors was not certified, I could arrange parts and my own contractor, then on the 22nd of December threatened me breach of contract for arranging my own parts. She clearly has some type of short term memory loss, on what and when and who she spoke to, Why this was taken place sharing cheeky emails between each other at my expense. This time rather then use my own computer skills, I had to use DSAR requests to access data in the correct format, to see their own internal investigation work, what unearthed a complete different version of events, Staff was dramatic, providing false accounts to contact they had with me, and even Tamsin reported to landlord & '' her contact with me report'' requested by managers, I'm ordering parts for the boiler to her surprise, but it was this very agent what give me the green light and told me to order parts, keep receipts and even give me advice how the contractor I use should address invoices.I spoke to the landlord direct, whom says it was Tamsin who was the one who persuaded her to use the The Mcalpine Group parsing there work and going over there insurance and so forth on the 21st, Tamsin also told the landlord I was acting without warrant, and ordering parts for her appliances what could put her property at risk.Tamsin completely forgot I had reported to her The Mcalpine Group had no certifications to install external expansion vessel, and she was whom give me a full '' GO ahead '' to order parts. Then in emails she reports to her manager, I am very frustrated and. hard work on the phone.surprise surprise .... 6 months no heating ! horrible Christmas...Expect this service from Savills, when dealing with there contractors. They should also follow a famous quote, Practice what you preach, And before you mention checkered past, please check your own :)Thanks.

TrustpilotIt was the Cambridge Branch we would…
It was the Cambridge Branch we would like to talk about. I have to say when we rented the property in Cambridge, the sales team was very efficient and responsive. Documents and procedure are clear enough. Everything were followed through. When we got the keys, the apartment was totally not on the professional cleaning status. Hairs and dust found in everywhere in the toilet and bathroom, even on bookshelf and on the light pendent. We spent a good few hours ourselves to clean the house. When we checked out our property, we hired a top notch professional cleaning team which is recommended by Savills to do the job. However, we were charged with a penalty for a scratch mark on the floor, where according to the checkout report, it was mentioned as a scuff mark. We did fight to not paying for this cost as they did ask the professional cleaning team return to do further cleaning, why they didn't include this area which can be easily removed by the professional team and charged me after their service instead? and 2) GBP100 for a removable stain, really? 3) savills said scuffs will not be charged for, why imposing this charge on my deposit claim? After pointing out the above reason, they come back to say they agree to reduce the mark to GBP50 and ask me to agree to the cost. I simply do not understand the logic, if the scratch does not exist at all, why should we even pay for GBP50? I know some people will accept to the reduction just to leave the hassle behind, but we demand for justice and the person at Savills who dealt with us doesn't give us a satisfying reason. To be honest, if you are charging me for GBP100 for the removable stains, who is going to compensate for cleaning the hairy and dusty property I received on day 1.
