We can't recommend this estate agent branch highly enough given the service we received when we sold our property. The team at Newmarket were helpful and considerate throughout the process giving sound advice to us regarding the market value. They supervised all the viewings and were unstinting with their time giving prospective purchasers the opportunity to really get a true feel of the house and garden. Dan Driver is an exemplary Sales progressor who can be fully trusted to shepherd a deal through with honesty, clarity, commitment and very evolved relationship skills. After interviewing a number of agents to sell our home we chose David Burr to represent us. Working with the team in Newmarket was an absolute pleasure from the first meeting to the handover of the keys. I found the team to be extremely knowledgeable about the market and found their advice to be spot on in all aspects. Ollie Trent was our main point of contact regarding the sale of the house and kept us updated on all aspects of the process. Once we had secured an offer for the house Ollie was extremely proactive in driving the sale of the house through to completion. Ollie remained engaged in the process after an offer was secured, pushing the solicitors on both sides for updates and keeping the process moving forward at pace. He was the voice of reason when I was frustrated with the solicitors. The value that David Burr and Ollie provided post receiving an offer was immeasurable. Best experience of buying a house ever. Cannot recommend Dan Burr and Nick Plumb enough. Communication was excellent and proactive meaning we didn't have to chase for info all the time. We originally bought our property through David Burr (Clare office ) and recently sold again through them, but the chain involved also had two properties being sold through David Burr (Newmarket office) All viewings were accompanied and feedback provided promptly. Our property was sold quickly at the asking price Nick Mills had suggested and the chain was complete. Unfortunately to a number of legal delays, which resorted in stress for all parties concerned, it took 6mths to finally exchange. So stressful at times due to lack of information from the solicitors, that Nick and I would often numb the pain of the whole process by drinking alcohol of an evening, and Nick even tried to escape for a few days dressed in Lyrca biking up mountains to get some peace !! :) Joking aside, the chain has now exchanged, and we complete in two weeks. The service has been professional and courteous at all times with all the teams from both offices working collaboratively to get the deal over the line. They certainly earned their fees on this chain but have worked hard with the support of other agents and vendors to get the move done. Thanks Nick Mills for all your efforts.
