Edited 21/12/24 - Following my update on 03/12/24, the request for information from Charles Church was received and completed. However no contact has been received from Charles Church. Edited 03/12/24 - Charles Church has responded to ask us to provide more information to a request from Trustpilot so that they can look into it. No request has been received from Trustpilot so we cannot do this! Once we are in receipt of the request we will provide the information. Sales service awful! Had to repeatedly call and leave messages to get an appointment to visit the site. Then when we did we were told that they would price match the same model plot with another that had been reduced, but then they failed to honour that. Explored a part exchange and the company that they used didn’t even provide an accurate plan of the plot of our current property, including our neighbours double garage and not ours and cutting off half of our rear garden! It was also stated there were pylons in close proximity which was false. The properties are completely overpriced to others in the area, even other builders. The wardrobes were fitted poorly leaving a swirly line up and down along the top that connected to the ceiling. You could not access the towel rail in one en-suite because it was rammed between the wall and the basin. We were told if we wanted to add a cupboard in the utility we’d have to organise this ourselves with the kitchen fitter whose details would be supplied.It took multiple calls and messages to get an update on the part exchange despite being told completion would have to be by Christmas (3weeks away) and we even called Head Office to try and get an answer, surprise surprise their sales adviser didn’t answer the phone either or return our call!The properties were marketed a year ago, and now have all flooring, kitchen and bathrooms installed so there is no choice. Despite this they maintain their stance to achieve an unrealistic price. It’s no surprise they are struggling to sell the properties on this particular site and we know we’ve had a very lucky escape. What on earth would their after sales service be like?!!

Lambourn meadows review updated

Always had to chase the sales team for anything we had discussed no follow ups. On house demo day tour was just told most thing to read the manual not shown how things work like solar panels or car charger. Also on house demo day week before we moved if not more, I had pick out things and was told they would be done before we moved in but non had been done, these are only being looked into now we are in the house.

Amazing service from the get go

Charles Church have been amazing right from the first interaction with Patricia in the sales office. She helped us from the get go and has been so attentive and thoughtful throughout, we are very grateful to have had her as our sales person. Since moving in it still has been an amazing experience, Jason the site manager has been so helpful, ensuring snags (the very few we have) are sorted as quickly as possible. 5* service from day one. Would recommend to anyone.

I would highly recommend Charles Church! Sophie, who was helping us all the way through our process is a super kind and professional Sales Adviser. She was happy to answer all the questions that we had. If you need someone that you can trust in this process, I would recommend her! Evans, the Site Manager introduced himself on the first week when we moved in to our new home to ensure that we are happy with everything. The location at Wynyard is great.However people have lived here for years and some street lights still don’t work eg 6C4858. It’s a great woodland area but CC need a sort out the woodland that they are responsible for. The finishing touches on an estate are important.

The transparency and progress updates of the company's sales manager and site manger like Nick and other staff from the beginning to the time we got our keys were excellent. The building was built with high quality materials and high standard. The company gave us discount and a lots of incentives that non of the developers we early visited offer half of what charles church offered. I,my beautiful wife ,daughter, and son are full of joys and happiness ever since we moved into the house.Honestly,Charles church fulfilled all of there promises.The house is beyond what we dreamed of. Words can't express our satisfactions.

Excellent serviceAs first time buyers the process of buying and moving into your first home can be daunting, however, the whole team (Site, Office and Sales) have really looked after us, keeping us up to date with progress, providing check ins and organising any necessary aftercare. Stephen, a Painter from Customer Care, has been to visit us in our new home to touch up some minor paint errors (slight chips from furniture being moved in). We couldn't be happier with the work he's done. He worked efficiently, while keeping the house neat and clean, and respected our schedule through working around times which worked for us.

Completing on the last working day before Christmas was not very convenient. There were a few issues that needed sorting out (such as the front door lock not working properly), but all the site staff went off for the Christmas holiday and said they would be back on 2nd January!

We’ve had endless problems from the sale and what was included through to the sagging. 3 weeks in and we are still awaiting for the sagging to be sorted. Customer care office seem to not bother replying or really care. It’s always someone else that has to sort out one thing or another which can be annoying when someone has said they will do what is required to get an issue fixed and another has said ‘don’t know what you’re talking about’. We can only ever get one person to look at things and when he’s on holiday, his boss or colleagues don’t seem to care as they are too busy (Steve, top worker in what seems to be everyone’s else’s jobs). We got hounded for a review the month after reserving our plot and kept getting hounded to a point whereby we point blank refused and finally got left alone, fancy asking for a review when you haven’t even moved in and already had problems from the start. 12 weeks in and we are still CHASING!!!!! Still waiting for things to be sorted and still not able to fully relax or live in our home!!!!! The endless chasing, waiting for updates, the tradesman coming in and out making things worse rather than better. Made a FORMAL complaint and they still dont care or take it seriously! The amount of time and money myself and my husband have spent chasing everything, taking time off of work to allow people into our home is unbearable and we've still got to continue to let them in and chase until this is resolved!! AOVID AOVID AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

SHOCKINGLY BAD SERVICE, AVOID

Living in Charles Church’s Windsor Park, Wakefield, has been an absolute nightmare for over 4 years. Despite Phase 1 supposedly being complete, we’re still living in a construction site with no proper road in sight. Their blatant disregard for residents is shocking.Customers and workers park their cars right in front of our house, making life even more unbearable. I’ve complained countless times, but they don’t care. The site manager is powerless, and the company’s higher-ups are a joke.This company is beyond pathetic, zero customer service, endless delays, and no accountability. Once they’ve got your money, you're left to suffer. Avoid this disaster of a business at all costs.
