Just started renting a flat with Keatons in bow and the place was filthy when moved in and had to clean it myself with my 1 year old crawling around me, even vomit around the underside of toilet bowl and millimetres of filth under the toilet. No working fire alarm which is illegal, no meter readings done on check in and then no access given to meters for 2 weeks at which point the electricity bill is extortionate because I can't prove we haven't used the electricity they say we have which is £112 in 2 weeks apparently! Utterly appalled at their abissimal and incompetent treatment of us as tenants. They couldn't have done less and made it worse for us if they'd tried. We pay £1600 in rent a month and had to actually pay Keatons to treat us this way which is infuriating

I live in Forest Gate E7 next to a property Keatons let. It's been over 18 months I have been contacting them to have the neighbours tree cut down as it is damaging my property. I have constant blocked drains, constant leaves from the tree blocking the drains gutters and ruining my lawn but they don't seem to take this matter as urgent or serious enough to do anything about it. I will now be contacting the directors as the local branch in Stratford il E15 is not taking this seriously. Poor customer service. Poor response. No call back with any answers.

Having moved to the Scottish Highlands two years ago, selling our London house recently could have been a stressful and complicated business from 600-miles distance! Choosing an estate agent was, therefore, an especially important task - not least because we wanted to avoid the need for flying back and forth in person. Having spoken by phone and email to a selection of Stratford, East London-based companies, we had no hesitation in placing our business with Keatons, whose responsiveness, expertise and clear local market knowledge stood out a mile. Our decision did not disappoint; guided by Martina Radomska, Sales Co-ordinator, Keatons of Stratford showed great sensitivity in liaising with our tenants over viewings, and in a very short time, had marketed the property to such effect that an offer came within three weeks, resulting in a sale. All-in-all, from beginning to end, Keatons proved to be highly professional, especially in keeping us in the loop with the progress of the deal. Indeed, my partner and I did not need to make one single trip to London! We have no hesitation to recommend Keatons, and would gladly use their services again.

I decided to opt for Keatons to handle the sale of my property because their staff had experience and a clear sales strategy. Other agents had given me higher valuations, but I felt Keatons valuation was well reasoned and plausible - and I was more interested in a true valuation than an unrealistic one. Their sales strategy was extremely successful, securing me an offer substantially over the asking price. I was given good advice on presenting my property both for photography and for viewings. After I had accepted an offer I was assigned a coordinator to see me through the full sale process - she was extremely efficient and helpful. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would happily recommend Keatons in Stratford to other vendors.
