My experience of the Sarah mains team across the board has been absolutely fantastic. Would not fault them on anything. I marketed my property with the estates team and now am currently letting my property with the residential team and the whole group is fantastic. Elliot has been fantastic in communicating and Miranda has already been incredibly helpful in managing the teething issues of a new tenancy. Cannot recommend this team and their professionalism enough.

I walked into the office at Jesmond in June. This was the very first time I was making a physical enquiry about buying a property and the person I met, Lucy was warm, super helpful and encouraging. I left there with butterflies and a few months later we are now getting our very first property through Sarah Mains. What we love about Sarah Mains is how nice u can expect most of the properties they manage to be. Not sure why… but it just looks better than most 😆. The staff that me and my partner came across were friendly, polite, professional and super quick to respond. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. A special mention to Elliot Scott who was our main contact during our letting process. Having been a landlord with SM for a couple of years, from 2022-2024, I couldn't recommend them for managing property on your behalf. I had numerous issues, from poor inspection reports (not highlighting really quite obvious condensation issues at the property - previous tenant of 7 years had no such issues), to forgetting to carry out CP12 inspections at the required interval, and having to constantly chase the Tenancy manager for responses after emailing multiple times about some of the issues we had. Usually had to follow up with a call, when there was no reply, and the response was often 'sorry we were busy', well I'm afraid that's not my concern as a paying client, if you need more staff to provide the correct service, then employ more people. The whole experience on the tenancy management side was continual frustration, we've now thankfully moved to another agent in Benton who actually provides excellent customer service, what a contrast......To the management and directors at Sarah Mains, you really need to do better than this, the service we paid for and received was really just not good enough.

Our second excellent experience with Sarah Mains. Having used them to sell our previous property we wanted them back again and their level of service delivery was top drawer. This time our agent/valued was Rachel Cromwell and she was a joy to deal with. She set up a WhatsApp group with herself, me and my wife and kept us constantly updated throughout the selling process m. Another great video and fabulous photography helped us get considerably higher than the asking price for our property. We came back into Kelly Docherty’s care after the sale was agreed and again, as previously, Kelly was also a joy to deal with. She kept us in the picture throughout the sale transaction and is always friendly and positive. Another great experience dealing with Sarah Mains and can’t recommend them highly enough.
