I searched all local estate agents when looking to let my property. Pattinsons stood out by a mile. In particular the Peterlee branch and all staff, from Claire the manager, to Carter and Natalie. The professionalism and knowledge was better than all other agents I dealt with, and they did over and above to assist with making sure I was fully aware of each potential tenant and honest feedback from those viewings.I will continue to use Pattinsons and will be very quick to recommend them to all my contacts.

We were met at the property on Great Park by a property consultant - Katie, and were so pleased to see her from the moment she got out of her car. She was smiling and she knew a lot about the property that we were looking at, and i am saying this because we have viewed quite a lot of properties with other agents as well and if we were to ask anything outside the box (what wasnt completely visible) they would not know a thing and would then direct us to the office. However Katie knew what she was talking about and even managed to calm down my little 2 year old that was crying. Cheers Katie, you are a star, We are also quite pleased with the quick turnaround time that we have been receiving with regards to email and text. Thank you for caring about your tenants.

You are always apprehensive when you put the sale of a house in the hands of an estate agent. Pattinson's of Durham had sold a house opposite and the timely arrival of a 20% off fixed price leaflet followed by a visit from Gareth had us giving them our business..Helen, who has since moved to manage the Jarrow branch and the two David's did their stuff selling the property, getting our asking price and keeping us informed throughout. For us they delivered and we are happy to recommend them.

She is a great asset, with an incredible eye for detail, thoroughly invested and really puts the graft in at Pattinsons Washington. I cannot praise her and the team enough. Number 1!!

Great service from the Jarrow branch. Viewed a house and fully moved in all within 2 weeks. The staff were really efficient in organising all the appropriate paperwork and ensuring it was completed ASAP from all parties. I found all of the staff very pleasant and helpful, being in regular contact with them throughout the process ment we had a smooth transition into our lovely new home- just weeks before Christmas! Would definitely recommend, thanks so much

Taken me a while to write this but here it goes: we asked various questions regarding our rented property. Such as mould, plumbing, heating, which we were told there were no issues within the property etc. Having mould develope in multiple rooms, broken heating which cant be monitored/set etc. No water pressure in the kitchen(not disclosed). We were told by landlord to "bugger off if we dont like the property", letting agency has been NO HELP. I will be writing to my local MP and citizens advice as this has become a dangerous property to live in.

TrustpilotAdequate but costly service, but avoid their recommendation of a solicitor
I used the Forest Hall branch of this company. Whilst Joanne provided an adequate service, there was very little follow up after the buyer for my home had been secured and in the end, I did most of the communication between the various parties for my sale and purchase.As for value for money, I am truly appalled at the amount I paid for someone to view my home, take photos of it, put it on Rightmove and basically wait for people to respond to the advert. There are no specialist skills required to do this job, and sellers undertake their own viewings with prospective buyers. How this justifies £1,500 + VAT = £1,800 I just don't know.However, what concerns me most about this estate agency is its recommendation of the services of a solicitor. Taking up their recommendation was a huge mistake. The company I was allocated to deal with me, RAW Clark, charged exorbitant fees and costs for items such as 'file storage' of £40+VAT for both sale and purchase. This is what they are supposed to do with your information, not charge you for it! What really upset me, though, was the fee for searches of £426, when my son moved to the same estate last year and his solicitor charged £230 for all of the searches.When I delved further, RAW Clark wouldn't disclose the name of the company to whom they subcontracted this service and their explanation that this particular company provides a 'premium' service for searches and hence the high cost, is just not true. There aren't grades of service for searches.When I challenged both RAW Clark and Pattinsons about these issues, their responses were defensive, unwilling to accept any criticism of what was being offered and hugely disrespectful. Please, therefore, be aware that there are estate agents which offer a better level of service at lower fees and DO NOT take up Pattinson's recommendation of a solicitor. Find your own and thoroughly check out the fees for all of the services that they will be carrying out for you. I secured a solicitor at two-thirds of the price of RAW Clark.

My experience with all the members of the team at Pattinson's could not have been more positive. After having very bad experiences with Estate Agents for a few years trying to sell my property I decided to go down the Auction side of things. After finding Pattinson's on the inter net I called them to see how it all worked and whether it was the right path to take. They were so helpful and no question was to much. All the staff have been very professional and empathetic with my situation. Yesterday I had the much awaited news after months of my maisonette going to Auction that it had been sold. I can not thank everyone at Pattinson's enough. I would definitely recommend them. #startlivinglifeagain

I can honestly say we transfered from another estate agent who over a period of a month had 2 viewings and one of them was through family. We transfered across to pattisons and joanne has had numerious people across the door and has given us feed back straight away. Always open to suggestions and an asset to the company. It is also worth mentioning that the full team were also helpfull and would recomend them as well. We will use again.

Exceptional service from the Whickham branch. Whilst looking for a rental property, I spoke with the manager, Lyndsay, who went above any beyond what I have come to expect from the usual estate agents. This branch sourced a number of properties for me and allowed viewings that were way out of usual viewing times. Even at very short notice. I was really made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. Could not recommend the Whickham branch highly enough. 5 stars doesn’t seem enough!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have engaged with Ruth from the north shields branch for 4.5 years .She has always been very helpful in all aspects of renting my property out. & has also given me sound advice when buying properties. Ruth always give her honest opinion she is also very knowledgeable with in the property market. She is a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend her and her colleagues in the north shields branch. Ruth keeps me informed at all stages during the renting or buying phase of the properties I have there is never any issues or unpleasant surprises.
