Worst company I've dealt with.

Anyone looking to buy or rent with Pattinson Estate Agents Pattinson Estate Agents, Bedlington Branch avoid them at all costs.I rented a flat for 6 months and advised them numerous times during the tenancy that there was an issue with damp and mould. this damp was caused by a hole in the wall that Pattinsons now claim I'm liable for, quote "the damp was caused by a bed being against a wall, not allowing proper ventilation". Nothing to do with a hole in the wall, allowing water to seep through. They have since painted over the mould, more than likely not resolved the damp issue and the next tenant will have the same issue. The flat is relisted to rent again but still hold my deposit. Absolutely awful company to deal.**updated to the response from Pattinson** You sent out a for a report which did state lack of ventilation on the property and that you admitted was your fault and not mine. The report did not make any mention of the penetrive damp we reported and confirmed. Would also refuse joint visit with my insurers to agree liability. I look forward to the conclusion of the TDS and trading standard review.

They refused to return the rental deposit of £650 which was held in a deposit scheme and never informed me the tenant) that I wasn't getting it returned as it was used for fees to re advertise the property which landlord is responsible for even though I had permission to end the tenancy agreement early due to property becoming unsuitable for my disability needs.

Never again !

Called in Pattinson Wallsend to ask if they could help me sell my home. Soon as I walked in the door the girl shouts over have you got a mask, I explained I was exempt and showed my exemption card , she said okay, I walked further to the desk which had a glass screen up and the girl shouted ‘go and stand by the door’. to which I replied ‘It don’t matter’ and I walked out. She made me feel like a Leper and spoke to me in an awful manner. Never in my life have I been spoken to like that. Horrid Horrid woman with long black hair. In these times I’m sure they would benefit from my custom but sorry Pattinsons I won’t be back and I will be passing on my experience to others.

Great service from Bedlington

I commissioned the Bedlington office deal with a “House to Let” for me. They were fantastic 👏. Jane came out and did the photographs, showing the house to its best advantage and then it was advertised. After 2 viewings a lovely couple from out of the area paid their deposit to secure. Pattinson’s carried out all of the checks to ensure that they were a satisfactory family and my house is now rented with a very happy landlord. Thank you Pattinson’s, you couldn’t have done better.

Awful experience

I was reduced to tears by Louise Wilkinson from the Blyth branch , she insinuated that it was my fault that the completion was taking so long. I told her she was driving me to suicide with her nasty remarks on every phone call and she told the solicitor to stop the sale saying I was not of sound mind. The sale of my flat went through. Bitter woman .... Also lied about the fees, was £800 more... I have never dealt with such nasty estate agents
