I had dealings as the purchaser, not vendor and felt their service was very professional, courteous and that they had my interests in mind as much as their vendor's, which I think builds confidence.Alison was extremely helpful in arranging a second viewing, at short notice, because I am relocating and not at all local; she attended herself.I have had dealings with another Est Agent that had none of the basic information a buyer will want regarding lease, maintenance, ground rent etc, for a property they'd marketed a couple of months. Let down on a viewing too. Pattison was the complete opposite.I would happily recommend Pattison and wouldn't hesitate to use them personally, if I were selling my home in the future.

If I could leave minus stars I really would, same goes for the recommended in house solicitors R A W Clark in Morpeth. I listed my house with Pattinsons Ashington in June 2022. I accepted my first buyers offer in August 2022. He was buying the property to rent and was highly a recommended customer from Pattinsons. However, my buyer’s solicitor established there was an issue with my garage deeds. Turns out I didn’t actually own my garage (news to me). This led to lots of complications with the sale. R A W Clark did not act in a timely matter to try and resolve this issue. Which lead to my buyers mortgage in principle quickly coming to an end in the meantime (baring in mind I was told by Pattinsons that he was a cash buyer). My buyer decided to continue with the sale without the garage in January 2023, as long as I completely moved out in 1.5 days time. It was highly recommend by both Pattinsons and R A W Clark that I follow these instructions (despite not signing any contracts). It was very stressful and last minute but I managed and moved in with my partner. On the day I was meant to be handing over the keys I heard absolutely nothing. I was constantly phoning for updates, 6 days later I found out he pulled out of the sale.We re-listed my house following this. I provided Pattinsons strict instructions that for the next sale I am selling the house only, given I do not actually own the garage and I didn’t want another sale to fall through because of it. I was told the garage would be taken off the advertisement and any viewers would not be told anything about a garage. I spoke to several different staff from Pattinsons regarding this in order to reiterate the importance. I accepted another offer a few weeks later. A month or so afterwards, I was informed that my buyer didn’t even have a current mortgage in principle. I was patient and allowed about another month for them to get one. All seemed to be going ok until about May 2023, when my buyers solicitor began asking questions about the missing garage deeds. This was very confusing to me as I was under the impression my buyer was happy with the agreement of me selling the house only. Turns out the garage was never taken off the Pattinsons advertisement, my buyer was promised the garage with the sale and he was even offered to look around the garage when he viewed my house. Once my buyer found out from myself that the garage isn’t actually included in the sale, he ultimately pulled out. At this point I put an official complaint in (still to this day I have never heard back from).It is now June-July 2023. It’s been 1 year up for sale with Pattinsons. I am feeling pretty desperate and very stressed. I decide to go down the auction route with Pattinsons. I receive a phone call telling me the house is now live on auction. I checked the auction page and it looked like my house had received a bid for a price I would be very happy with. I phoned to confirm this, to be told it was an error on the system. I checked the right move advertisement to see what that now looks like with it being an auction sale. Within the advertisement there was no mention of the house being up for auction. It was the exact same advertisement as previous, except, the price of my house had been reduced by £25K that day. Immediately I phoned to pull out of the auction and leave Pattinsons because at this point they have completely tarnished my house advert. That advert remains on the internet history and will always be there, which has effectively now devalued my house significantly.I look back and I am filled with regret that I stayed with Pattinsons for so long. The stress, the money I have lost still paying all my house bills since January when I no longer live there. The money I lost with how much they devalued my house with their mistakes. I have since moved estate agents and have managed to secure an offer I am happy with, from a buyer with no chain and mortgage in principle in place (within 2 days of my house being advertised). I really hope people read this and think twice before listing with Pattinsons.

They have moved tennants next door to us that are smoking weed blatently in the garden and house while there two kids run riot all day every day,we can’t relax in our own house for the constant banging as they leave the kids downstairs on there own all day while they have sex upstairs that our 14 year old has to listen too,different men coming in and out of her house all times of day and night.We have spoken to pattinsons who have basically said they can’t do anything about it.pattinsons peterlee are an absolute joke if this is the type of people they are happy to move into there properties.It says everything about the company.

I really couldn't have asked for a better service from Wendy at Pattinsons. There were a few bumps along the way which were out of her hands but she consistently chased and provided me with daily updates. Communication was excellent and made me feel at ease when I couldn't get answers from anyone else. Very polite and friendly too - would 100% recommend!!

if i could leave zero stars i would, they are happy to take your money but absolutely no consistency even taking all the rent one month and didn't even tell me why until it was too late, unset my tenant on multiple occasions, sent me pictures of work that needed doing but not even my house, if you're a landlord do yourself a favour and avoid PATTINESON AT ALL COST THEY ARE WORSE THAN USELESS

Helen Widdowson at the Low Fell branch was amazing.Her and her team went above and beyond in every possible aspect. We were purchasing a property, and from the very start they were extremely helpful in providing us with regular updates, chasing up on the seller and their solicitor as well as letting us know if anything was required from us.Part-way through the purchase, we had an issue with our solicitor, and Pattinsons offered to find us another conveyancer. Luckily we found another soon afterwards, but on several occasions the team handled our calls outside of their usual office hours and even when supposed to be on leave.Helen was an absolute godsend and made the process of buying a house so easy. If only our first solicitor hadn't been such a nightmare then I couldn't have imagined an easier time.Would easily recommend them and should we ever consider moving from our new home, we will be using Pattinsons to sell!

Forest Hall Branch have a fantastic team and nothing is too much trouble for them. The house was valued by Paula on the Saturday and the listing went live on the Tuesday. Joanne and her team then worked incredibly hard booking in a huge number of viewings and we accepted an offer within a week. Viewings are done at all hours and updates on each viewing were sent promptly. Joanne was so helpful to me making the whole process incredibly easy and stress free. I’m so glad I chose Pattinson’s and would highly recommend them.

Pattinson’s have dealt with the sale of my property and put it this way, I’d use them again in a heartbeat.Alison from the Jarrow branch has literally went above and beyond when issues with Solicitors down the chain have arose on numerous occasions, the amount of effort she puts into getting these resolved has left me feeling ever so grateful. Everyone knows how stressful moving house is and the fact she genuinely cares about everyone who is involved and strives to provide us with the best outcome possible, makes everything 10x more settling knowing she is handling it. Its only after i got in touch with Hayley and James to explain what we are going through and the problems we are experiencing with our current agent we finally had professional guidance from both moving forward. The communication from both has been fantastic and i can honestly say its been amazing dealing with professional individuals who are here to help landlords which are being taken for a ride. Contacted Pattinsons to sell my property. The solicitors I initially engaged with to carry out the conveyancing were dragging their feet; the staff at Pattinsons were absolutely brilliant.What a fantastic team in the Bedlington office. I have only praise for their patience and professionalism in dealing with the sale of my property. A BIG thank you to them for the time and attention they gave; it's not an understatement to say how grateful I am to them for their perseverance.5 stars isn't enough! I highly recommend.

Called them out to have a valuation of the house, the lady apparently want to have a quick sale of our house, she give a price of 220k later On we find out the worst area and a lot smaller house sold price are all above 250k, while we are in the best areas and our house is twice the size, avoid this company they rip you off first before you put on market What’s the point using them,scammers
