Absoloutely disgusting!!! been in the property for a year. Waited a full year for simple repairs to be done! That were not fully repairs and has now resulted in no hot water or heating for days! Will not come and fix it!!! i have a 12 week old baby. I’m pretty sure this is illegal??

Madly unorganised and poor communication. We booked a viewing using their auto booker and it's rubbish. I was stood outside in the cold waiting for someone to arrive for a house viewing. I called the office and was brushed off with a "he'll be 20 minutes he's running late" without even asking me about what property it was. Then I ring back 20 minutes later, someone more helpful answers but they say that the booking was for the same date next month! Then we find out that the auto booker had rearranged our appointment without telling us. There was little attempt to help fix the mistake, again palmed over to the auto booker which never has any available slots no matter what time I check. I missed out on a dream property due to incompetence.

I can’t recommend Northwood enough they were amazing selling my father’s house after he passed away, they took control of everything, from the viewings, to the EPC, to organising multiple appointments with the purchaser, they took away a lot of stress at a very stressful time, both Leanne and Olivia were readily available and always friendly and professional, after selling two other houses in the last year with different agents it was a noticeable difference and improvement working with Northwood and I wouldn’t hesitate again.

Wouldn’t even give it a star to be honest, shocking company, misleading and miss advised. Blagged into getting a rent guarantor to ensure referencing will be fine - transparent about everything still swayed to go ahead just for them to pull out. Advised keys should be available by end of the week because everything will be fine with a rent guarantor. Lied about what let alliance came back with and how they work. (Did ring let alliance and was advised correctly)

Don't rent from this company. The Ashford branch are awful! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Moved into a property that was not cleaned or repaired ready to rent. Was assured all fixes would be done. However, nothing was done. It's taken 5 months to get a working shower! We have given them a list of issues which should've been seen before it was let, and 6 months on, they've done nothing. Now they've asked for the list again, for the 8th time! Tried to move out and found a great new property (sadly still with them) and they deliberately refused to let me view it. Once we do move out, I would never take another property with Northwood Ashford.

Don't expect anything good

The staff is rude, unhelpful, lack general knowledge on issues around the house. They are unbothered to deal with issues on a timely manner, yet they call you if they can't find your rent, accusing you of not paying, but only their accounant can't do their job. New rules out now, not a single word on the changes. They are behind on every issue. They can't keep record of mandatory maintenance, yet they ignore you when you ask them to arrange it. Then send somebody to half the job. Annoying. Their house inspection feels like prying into others' business, taking photos of personal belongings,claiming it's part of the inspection. What? Checking what's new in the house? Distessing and insulting how they feel ok with this. They don't respect their tenants ' privacy. Avoid if you can.
