My husband and i have fairly recently engaged with Heywoods in the marketing and sale of our BtL property portfolio after many years a BtL landlord. From our introduction to Heywoods through Maria Preston, Maria is very sympathetic in managing the front end of the process in her role in realistically valuing our property and setting up all the marketing needs very professionally and in a timely manor. Once our properties went live is at that time we were introduce to Sara Leach, Senior Negotiator, who has so far exceeded our expectations in the management of the sale process. Nothing is every too much trouble and her communication skills across a combination of buyers, potential buyers and the two parties legal teams is exemplary. This has so far been a very positive experience dealing with Heywoods measured across our previous experience's in dealing with other estate agents. Keep up the good work "The Heywoods Team"

I have to say that being guided and supported through my house sale with Nathan, has, ( and still is ) been an impressive experience. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a letting agency, I’ve been here for around a month, the property has extreme mould issues which I’ve reported multiple times and nothing has happened, it took almost 2 weeks to get the gate code for where my car should be parked in which time my car was ransacked, they still over a month later haven’t given me the code for the gas meter area, the water cupboard in the building is broken. None of this Information was given to us when we moved in, they have been completely unprepared at every junction of this move and every-time I ask them something the only answer they have is I will contact the management company. I would recommend going with another company over these, unfortunately I am trapped in contract however once I finish I would never use them again based off of this experience. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Julia Bramfitt at Heywoods (Newcastle-under-Lyme branch) during my recent property purchase, where she was the sales progressor. This was far from a straightforward transaction. We encountered multiple challenges along the way, unexpected findings with the property, complex legal hurdles, tight completion timelines, and on top of that, there were sensitive negotiations around price and completion dates, which can often, and nearly did, derail a sale entirely. Throughout all of this, Julia was exceptional. She demonstrated outstanding facilitation, negotiation, and relationship management skills, keeping all parties aligned, managing differing expectations, and ensured everyone’s views and positions were fairly and clearly represented. Her communication was consistent and proactive, with regular updates that kept momentum moving even during the most difficult stages. What really stood out for me was Julia’s ability to remain calm, composed, kind and professional under pressure, while still being approachable, friendly, and considerate to everyone involved. She played a pivotal role in navigating the transaction through its toughest moments and ultimately getting it over the line. Had our first investment property renovation complete in October 24. Met with the lettings team on a Saturday as soon as the property was ready, and within just one week the property has been let to a long term (well referenced) tenant. Phoned up to get an idea of what kind of cosmetic enhancements I would be able to make on my property to make it not only sellable but also increase the value of the property as well as the best periods to sell. Jessica was not only very friendly and professional but also a well of useful information. Upon listening to her advise I was quickly and efficiently brought up to speed within minutes on what I needed to do and where best to focus my attention. We have recently had our roof cleaned to remove the moss and chimney pointed where required by Phil and Mike of Heywoods. Phil originally came to view the work required and advised a quote would be sent by Friday of the same week. This was sent by Hannah who was very prompt and efficient with her emails advising of their process and providing invoices for paymeny. We accepted the quote and a convenient date was arranged. Phil and Mike arrived promptly at 9am on the agreed date. They covered the drive to keep it clean. They also went to our neighbours on each side to inform them that some of the moss and dirt from the roof may go onto their property but they would clean it up. They did an excellent job and left everywhere clean and tidy including our neighbours properties. It was nice to deal with a company that do what they say they are going to and do it when they say they are going to do it. An excellent service. Thanks Phil, Mike and Hannah.

I have been dealing with Heywoods regarding the sale of my property in Madeley. I am now withdrawing my house sale due to a part exchange for another property in my area. However in that time Heywoods have been excellent in every way from the administration staff to Jade Skelton, Senior Valuer for Heywoods. As an out-of-town landlord, I became nervous when one of my rentals became void. Heywoods came to the rescue! Charlotte took care of everything, liaising with the existing tenant to arrange viewings, assisting with prospective tenant selection, managing check out/in inventory, drafting tenancy agreement and eventual move in of new tenant. Updating this review I left a few months ago (shown below) to state that I'm still really impressed with the service from Heywoods. They have now found a tenant for my property and everything related to getting it all set-up has been expertly managed by Charlotte Tomkinson at Heywoods. I've been so impressed by them I have also moved another rental property of mine to Heywoods! --- Wonderful service from Lottie Foden at Heywoods who dealt with everything in relation to letting out my property with the upmost professionalism, courtesy and efficiency. During my meeting with her at the property she showed that she has considerable knowledge in letting property and provided very useful practical advice. I've dealt with a number of letting agents and the service I received from Lottie has exceeded that from any other agent. Although I've mostly dealt with Lottie, I'd also add that everyone else I've dealt with at Heywoods have been professional and courteous too. All in all, I'm very happy with the service received so far!
