GoogleWe can't recommend the team at Sutherland Reay highly enough. Jayne at the Chapel office was the estate agent for our purchase and her excellent communication skills and commitment helped to manage the complicated process between multiple solicitors and estate agents. Jayne always kept us informed and managed the expectations of both ourselves and others in the chain. Without being dramatic, we feel this chain and our purchase could've collapsed several times without Jaynes proactive interventions and communication skills. Just wish we could give 6 out of 5 stars for the review.

GoogleSutherland Reay Chapel-en-le-Frith team are truly top of the tree when it comes to selling houses. I'm my experience with estate agents i have found great communication to be a priority. Sutherland Reay are superior when it comes to communication. They listen well and they take the stress out of selling houses. Sutherland Reay work extremely hard to eleviate any issues promptly. Communicating between solicitors, buyers and sellers in a professional and efficient way. Other agencies need to take a good look at Sutherland Reay, in my opinion they are the leaders of the house market.

GoogleMy brother and I used the Chapel en le Frith office to sell our late Mum’s house after she died. It was a very good decision, it was a smooth and trouble free process. Jayne from the Chapel office was excellent in her communication with us, she kept us up to date very regularly - even if there had been no change- so we were not left wondering. Highly recommend.

Even though the process took quite a long time, which wasn’t anyone’s fault, just the nature of the procedure, the staff were always kind and supportive. GooglePaul was very friendly when he came to value my home, valuation was pretty accurate. All the staff that then dealt with the sale of my house were really polite and friendly. They were very organised and kept me informed of what was going on. If I move back to the area, I would use them again.

GoogleWe contacted Sutherland Reay for a valuation on our home and Paul came within a few days. We decided not to sell our house just yet but I would not hesitate to use this estate agent in the future as they were very knowledgeable, friendly and answered calls very quickly.

GoogleJust can’t believe it!! We had our house valued and photographed yesterday and in less than 24 hours we have accepted an offer of the asking price...amazing. Paul and Pete were professional, courteous and respectful when visiting the house and gave us lots of time, advice and encouragement. Sue in the office is just fab. Everyone is very knowledgeable and happy to give lots of time to ensure that we are happy. GoogleDon't want to waste too much time talking about this letting agency...I have far better things to do than let them misuse my time. Viewed a property and told the agent I was a full time carer for my daughter and that I have been renting the same property for over six years. The house we viewed ticked all the boxes and so forms were duly filled in. This was on a Thursday....I rang them on the following Monday..to be immediately told that I was not a suitable tenant because I was unemployed. Maybe they should get to know their landlords criteria first.

Mr Baker, i am sorry that you feel you have been let down by Sutherland Reay however, as the landlord is our client have to follow their instructions. We don’t discriminate as an agent so we put all applications forward but we had a lot of interested parties and ultimately it’s the landlord’s decision and they wanted to proceed with someone else. There is currently a lot of strain in the rental market as a lot of landlords have decided to sell which means there are more people looking for properties and there are fewer properties available. Unfortunately this means there have been a number of perfectly good applicants who have had to miss out on properties

Googlea complete disappointment , I think the offer (160.000) we put on property not even been but forward and not told to the landlord, we waited 3 weeks and we were not informed at all , 3 weeks later we called and found out that the property was sold for £1,000 more than the price we offered (£161.000) we was happy to go up to £170.000 but never been informed , I think they quietly sold it to someone they know , not very reliable , not very professional TOTALLY WRONG

Volkan I am sorry you felt that you have been dealt with unfairly. Your offer was put forward to the vendor but due to the position you were in the vendor did not want to accept it. In the meantime another offer was put in by someone in a very strong position which was immediately accepted by the vendor. Unfortunately once you were in a position for the vendor to consider your offer it had already been sold. The property was not sold to anyone we know it was a genuine purchase and my colleagues have been in touch to try and offer you another opportunity we have recently have got on the market.
