Thank you so much to all the team at SR. We sold our house with them and from start to finish they were a dream. Friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us. We were lucky to find our next home with SR too, which made everything so much smoother with both transactions being dealt with by SR. Nothing was too much trouble for them and when the exchange was delayed down the chain Jayne and the team all assisted in chasing for us to achieve completion within our desired timeframe. Although it took a while for our house to sell, the sales team, especially Angela and Andres, were fantastic throughout the whole process. Using the app to confirm viewings was straightforward, and if we hadn't responded, they would always give us a call to check in. They also conducted most of the viewings themselves, which was a huge help and took a lot of the pressure off us. Once an offer was accepted, Jayne was excellent at keeping us updated. She regularly chased things up, acted as a go-between with the solicitors when needed, and always kept us informed about what was happening. Handing the keys over on completion felt quite strange, as we'd been in regular contact with the team for the past year. They became such a reassuring presence throughout what was a very stressful and emotional time. I really appreciate all the hard work the team put into selling our home. They made a difficult process much more bearable, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Highly recommend the team at Sutherland & Raey! I personally mostly delt with Andries and he went above and beyond for us, instantly replying to early morning emails, would always get back to us with any questions we needed answers too and also helped seal the deal on both my sale and purchase! I called the Chapel-en-le-Frith office of Sutherland Reay expecting basic professionalism, instead, I was met with one of the most dismissive and arrogant interactions I’ve ever had with a so-called “customer-facing” business. The man who answered (a South African gentleman) made it blatantly clear he had no time for me. His tone was cold, impatient, and frankly insulting. He seemed more interested in ending the call than offering even the most basic level of help. This is not just bad service, it’s appallingly bad. If this is how they treat people making enquiries, I dread to think how poorly they treat clients once they’ve secured your money. There was zero courtesy, zero effort, and zero professionalism on display. Sutherland Reay clearly has no interest in building relationships or earning trust, all they are interested in is just moving on to the next transaction. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. There are far better agents in the area who will treat you like a person, not a problem. Avoid Sutherland Reay in Chapel-en-le-Frith, they are a liability, not a service.

From the first call / enquiry regarding numerous properties, the help, knowledge and advice was excellent, we had viewings confirmed the same day and they worked round our busy schedule, they definitely went above and beyond. From start to finish it’s been a pleasure to work with the New Mills team! We brought and sold through these guys and had an excellent service for both. As a seller, the photos they took are some of the best on the market, they really take their time, using high quality equipment, to show your home off at its best. The team took the time to learn about your home so could be informed for prospective buyers, something we learnt a lot of other companies don’t do. As a buyer, we had the wonderful Tim show us round our dream home. He was very knowledgeable about multiple aspects of the house and garden which really helped inform our decision and he was there throughout to support us with our many enquiries. We purchased and sold through Sutherland Reay New Mills branch and they have been excellent to work with throughout the entire process. Every member of staff was friendly and they were also very knowledgeable about the property we were looking to buy which was a great help. For selling our home, they were fast at getting us on the market and produced very high quality images and a virtual tour to help sell the house in less than a month. I cannot speak highly enough about the service provided by Sutherland Reay. From first approach to completion, their service was outstanding. Honest in terms of the value that could be realised by the property, responsive, in that the property was on the market with high quality optics within days and personal in that there were frequent (though not excessive) emails and telephone calls from their agency. Access to the mobile phone app was almost immediate and an excellent way of keeping track of progress. I would heartily recommend this agency.
