Toby, Guy and the team at Lindfield do it the way it should be done; enthusiastic, hard working and totally committed to getting the best result for their clients. Unconstrained by corporate dictat, their clients can expect honest advice as to how best to market their property (and how much for), and the presentation of their property to their best advantage. Unlike many of their competitors, they don’t sit back and expect the property portals to do their work for them; they follow up with regular targeted emails to buyers and, when the time comes, negotiate sales for their clients to best effect. Don't even consider instructing any other estate agents in Mid-Sussex. Toby and his team (i.e. Freddie and Trudie) deliver a fantastic service. They generated over 30 viewings when the market was wobbly and they attended every single viewing themselves, totally different to how many other estate agents operate. Our experience with Starkings and Watson was one of the best I've had with any estate agent. We viewed a few properties with the Costessey team and then decided to use them to list our own. The valuation meeting was great, informative and not at all high pressure. The photographer was lovely and took some excellent shots. Viewings ran on time, and feedback always came back to us promptly. Once we had an offer, we ran into some issues surrounding the buyer's solicitor, and this is where Starkings and Watson really made all the difference. I have to single out Janet in particular. She was quick to respond to my (fairly frequent) emails, and I genuinely felt she was as determined to get the sale over the line as we were. I honestly worry the sale might have fallen through without her. Thank you so much, Janet, and the rest of the team.
