I couldn’t have asked for more from Kate and Sam at Carlton estates. They managed a rental property for us when we moved overseas. It was never going to be easy for me to manage it and I’m so glad Carlton did it for us, they took over all responsibility even arranged for some minor maintenance when I was thousands of miles away. When we decided to sell they sold the house for me and again took all responsibility away from me. Very organised, diligent and caring. Made my life much easier. Which is exactly what you need. Because they dealt with both a rental management and the house sale I’ve seen both sides of there business. Both are just as good as each other. No fuss, no issues and super easy to work with. My husband & I are currently renting our house and Carlton’s are our letting agents. Our whole experience with them has been amazing, from the minute we enquired to living in the property now. Kate & Georgia were so helpful beforehand to ensure everything went so smoothly with our application & move in process which really did make such a stressful time so easy because I was also 7 months pregnant! Since moving into our property any queries we have had whether that be during an inspection or phoning up to ask a question Aimee had been wonderful. Our first inspection was done when I first came out of hospital after having our baby & she was so considerate & got our queries dealt with the very same day, since then anything we’ve needed help with during our time in the property she has been so helpful, welcoming & polite. I cannot recommend Carlton’s enough & really do appreciate everything they have done for us while we are tenants in the property!

Sam and his team have acted for us on several sales now, and the result is the same each time! Had an issue with the drains at the property that Carlton manage. Spoken to Georgina on the phone and she explained to use the online management portal for issues. Within 10 mins of submitting I had a call arranging for the problem to be resolved. Next day gentlemen turned up to clear drains. Problem solved within an hour. Amazing service on all parties. It was not an easy sale given that I was selling on behalf of my mum but they were involved throughout and kept me more up to date than my own solicitor. When my auntie went into a care home I had to decide what to do with her bungalow. This was a new experience for me but Sam patiently talked me through the two options - renting and selling. I took the renting one and, after vetting a number of applicants, he recommended a couple of tenants very quickly who have now moved in. Being new to the area I was unsure which agent I should work with, however I found a property that I really liked through Carltons, I called up and they arranged a viewing for me straight away. Once I had viewed the property I knew I wanted it, so, i called the agent to advise that I would like to proceed, the initial paperwork was emailed straight across to me and I was able to fill it in online and submit it back to the agent which for me was great as I lived out of town and didn't have time to visit their office. I got a call on the Monday to advise that the Landlord was happy to proceed with me, at this stage I was sent a full application, again digitally so there was no messing around at all, the moment my application was approved by the referencing agency I was contacted by Kate from Carltons to update me and advise me of next steps. Again all my tenancy paperwork was sent across digitally and i was able to sign on line making things much easier for me. I had a few questions which were answered very quickly, no matter who at the team I spoke with, everyone made me feel valued at all times. On the day of the move in I needed to bring it forward by a few hours so i could meet my furniture deliveries and Carltons were happy to accommodate me which made things on my move in day very smooth. I'd like to take this opportunity now to thank everyone on the Carltons team for making me feel very valued as a customer, thank you.
