GoogleI have just completed on the sale of my cottage in Mumbles with Astleys. Unfortunately the process started with some misrepresentation by the purchaser which was only noticed 2.5months into the process. However once discovered Cathryn worked very hard to keep the wheels in motion. I was very close to pulling out of the sale and Cathryn listened to me threaten and rant whilst maintaining a very professional and helpful stance. She was truly tenacious, communicating exceptionally well and acting as the 'middleman' between me and the purchaser. I would recommend Astleys and especially Cathryn without hesitation.

GoogleWe had an outstanding experience with Astleys in Mumbles as both a buyer and a seller.
Cath the Manager was friendly, professional and efficient. Her colleague Andrew was friendly, knowledgeable, and couldn’t do more. At times we asked to view properties at short notice and they did their best to accommodate us.
We did not have this experience with a ‘independent agent’ who wouldn’t leave us along on viewings and told us what price the seller would accept (although I’m not confident the seller knew this)
Together, Cath and Andrew made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Although I had a couple of setbacks in that buyers dropped out these three stayed positive and helped me to make a sale on my home. GoogleQ4 2025, we engaged the services of Astleys' Mumbles to sell a house on Gower.
What a positive experience, Astleys were so professional, from the initial visit to the property, to the preparation of the marketing documentation based on their knowledge of the area and properties previously sold, attracting potential buyers through their web presence, to finding the right buyer and completing the sale within 3 months, Astleys managed it all for a fair price.
I was also impressed with the service they gave the buyer, allowing them multiple viewings once the sale had been agreed so that they could make plans for their new home, a nice touch.
In the end, the house was sold for more than we had expected and at a fair price to the purchasers.
Win, win, win; an excellent piece of work by the Astleys' Mumbles team, I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell a house around Swansea or Gower.
