I moved my property to iBay after a disappointing few months listing it with another agent. I expressed my desire for a quick sale to make up for lost time whilst the property was with the other agent and was reassured when viewings were getting booked in from the first week under iBay’s helm. My property sale was managed my Laura and Hayley, both of whom were fantastic. They kept me well informed and updated throughout the process, including giving me detailed feedback off the back of viewings and demonstrated initiative in regards to seeking the survey ordered by a prospective buyer. Laura and Hayley went above and beyond in working with my solicitors, I knew I could trust them to share the necessary documentation / information to my solicitor as soon as it landed on their desk. Selling a property is a stressful experience in the best of times, but despite my extenuating circumstances with living in Northern Ireland iBay ensured the process was as painless as possible and for that I would recommend them to anyone selling a property in the Heysham/Morecambe/Lancaster area.

We recently moved property’s with I-Bay. By the way we love our new home! From beginning to end the process was professional and prompt. All the staff felt like part of the family rather than an Estate agents just doing their job. Paul was excellent from the beginning convincing us why best to choose I-Bay. He also was very helpful in our final negotiations. Laura kept in touch regular and all other staff involved. We were updated via email and also prompted if they required anything. We had a good start to selling our house. I think it sold within 6 weeks. Finding a house was more difficult as we had certain needs. We had a couple of houses fall through, which dragged the process on. But throughout this I-Bay kept us assured and positive. We were lucky enough to find a property which was being sold by I-Bay. Once this happened, the process was quick. This was due to good solicitors and financial advisor also. My only slight disappointment was that for the money we paid for the service I think on the day of collecting the keys it would have been a nice compliment to provide a happy new home card. As I say, the service was excellent. Just my opinion and I think a nice touch. We left our buyers a Card and Champagne . But everyone is different. Mr & Mrs Simpson

We are both selling and buying a house with I bay homes. Julie who came to measure up was fantastic and very informative. We had numerous viewings which the staff at ibay did so we didn’t have to be at home. Plenty of notice was given and feedback was sent to us. Our house was only on the market for 8 days before we accepted an offer. Laura and Hayley were very good at passing on information and keeping us up to date with things even if it was just comments passed over from our buyer. No question went unanswered no matter how big or small. Ibay seemed to work well alongside our solicitor for a seem less sale of our house and purchase of a new house. From Ibays first visit to exchange it was less than 3 months.

We wouldn't recommend. Throughout Ibay selling our home (which required only 2 viewings to do so) they seemed to be working more for the buyers even though we were the paying customers. There was huge delays which we were given a different reason for each time we called. We had to hound them for updates, which constantly resulted in being no clearer of the situation. And on the day of completion we were told by Ibay to take our time with the move due to the delays we had encountered, only to have our buyers letting themselves into the house when we hadn't vacated because iBay had passed on the keys. From start to finish the service was actually quite appalling and caused great stress, what we were paying them for I'm not sure, if we had the energy to take this further we would but we will choose to not use their services nor recommend them to anyone. The least you expect is honest, frequent communication. They made the stress of moving house much greater.

I recently purchased a property through ibay. The purchase proved to be more complex than expected due to unforeseen issues that were no fault of theirs. Throughout the whole process they were absolutely fantastic. Special mention to Laura who managed the sale/purchase from start to finish and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble, and she certainly went above and beyond and more than earnt her money in getting the issues resolved. I would absolutely recommend them and will certainly be using them when it's time to sell.
