Be aware of Entwistle Green, Countrywide Group, under Connells Group in the UK

We signed a contract for full management with Entwistle Green in Widnes (co-firm of Countrywide and Connells Group) to rent out our property. They caused us damage on a value of our property by about £30000. They concealed their income in Annual tax report to HMRC repeatedly, ignored our complaints, refused to do check up, charged us money for work which has not been supported by any evidence, they charged us for uncomplete services, they have not cared about the law and the rights, they puy phone down or did not pick up their phone, the have not replied, ignored us to provide the documentation, they told answers differently from thr facts, and also the opposite between their workers, they caused irretrievable damages to us-landlord. Entwistle Green and Countrywide team went on Christmas holiday and knowingly left a leaking water on the tenants' heads. They were irresponsible ignorants, uselest unprofessionals, told us the lies, has not provided documentation and services ordered by the law, uncomplete documentatipn, reports, in entory, and check-out report for which they charged us they deducted our rental income without any documentation, quotes, photos for and after repairs, they allowed tenants to change a whole kitchen without our consent, if they changed gas, electricity, or water they had not made the revision reports, they caused us-the landlord many problems, they have not cared about 6x unpaid rent in two months arrears but told us that everything was fine, that the tenants were happy. They made us to feel that we were robbed and the law was ineffective to protect us-the landlord.

I can't thank the Maghull Office in Merseyside enough for the help support and commitment the team provided throughout the purchase of my home. The knowledge, skills and abikity the team have is amazing, and although they are very busy, they always had time to help and assist. Communication was excellent throughout my purchase, to include excellent interpersonal skills that always made me feel reassured. The branch Manager Sarah and Georgia were totally amazing at their job and really lovely people. Sam, who was my financial advisor was truly both a lovely person and excellent at his job. Moving home is a stressful time, however. The team at Maghull helped me from start to end. I would highly recommend the team at Maghull to help with house sale,purchase or mortgages. The staff at the Entwistle Green Morecambe branch, especially Jadine Rigg, have been very supportive, responsive and professional in marketing and selling my property during very challenging times of Covid-19 safe-guarding measures. The branch staff are always helpful, informative and responsive, and Jadine thankfully always maintained positive and calm assurances at times of conveyancing anxieties. This is just the kind of local, friendly and professional service needed to help ensure successful marketing of properties in the local area. I highly recommend. The conveyancing service offered by the parent group Countrywide was not a good idea, as this service is based in Manchester, and was remote and impersonal. I recommend staying local with Entwistle Green local branch staff who are well connected to the local service network.

So refreshing to deal with enthusiastic knowledgeable staff. Rachael was fantastic on the phone and left a great first impression. Poppy came to do the valuation and was really took time to discuss everything and again had the knowledge and was prepared fully. My husband and I have just bought our first home through Entwistle Green and Countrywide, the mortgage advisor Magda is absolutely amazing, she had a mortgage sorted for us in a matter of days. All the staff are so lovely and down to earth and never had any issues with answering questions- and there were a lot of questions! We found our perfect home and I know for a fact they all worked incredibly hard on getting our purchase completed as soon as possible. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting to get themselves on the property ladder!

I previously left a good review for Entwistle Green because we were so happy with how quick and smooth the process initially seemed, but it has since turned into a complete disaster. We paid both the holding deposit and tenancy deposit for a property after being told everything had gone through, that the landlord had agreed, and that we were due to collect the keys on the 29th. They reassured us multiple times that there were no issues, even sending us information to set up our utility accounts. Based on this, we spent hundreds of pounds on furniture, Wi-Fi installation, and other essentials ready for move-in day. Then, the day before we were due to move in, we received a call saying the landlord had not signed the tenancy agreement and had pulled out, meaning the tenancy was never confirmed. This was completely shocking, especially as Entwistle Green had told us everything was approved. To make matters worse, we’ve since discovered that the same property is now listed again with another agent (Adore Property) at the same rental price, which makes us question whether the landlord truly pulled out or whether this was mishandled by Entwistle Green. Although they’ve agreed to refund our money, we have to wait nearly two weeks to get it back, leaving us unable to secure another property and out of pocket for cancellation fees. The entire experience has been incredibly stressful, inconvenient, and disappointing. Would not recommend using Entwistle Green, their lack of communication, internal errors, and failure to handle things professionally have caused us a huge amount of unnecessary hardship.

5 stars for the agency and Mrs Dora Seimeni in Warrington's Entwistle Green

I arrived in Warrington in January knowing nobody in the city. Searching a flat online did not help a lot. Walking by entwistle green i decided to enter and ask for more info! Luckily Mrs Dora Seimeni was there who was more than helpful. After she showed me some flats in the city, indecided to review one. Dora could not be more helpful really, she explained everything thoroughly and helped me understand how the bills work, how to accommodate etc. being totally new in the country knowing nothing, i m thankful that i found her. Entwistle Green as well was immediately next to me when something needed to be fixed in my flat! 5 stars, can’t recommend enough both the agency and my agent Dora.

Just dont waste your time

Me and my wife traveled over an hour to view a house, when we arrived the agent lied and said he had sent her a voicemail stating that he had not recieved keys and that the viewing was off, nobody called her phone and they couldnt care less about their customers.. extremely unprofessional
