Spoke to a staff member in this Morden Branch and asked him if the property on the market with his Branch was ex-Council or privately Build and the staff member said it was Ex-Council build due to his knowledge & vast experience in this field, but his vast experience & knowledge was completely Useless, as he was Completely Wrong as the property in question was indeed privately Build and NOT Ex-Council! We know this as we own a similar property in the same Block of Flats . Just Shows Complete Arrogant IDIOTS working in this Branch with no knowledge of anything and refusing to accept when they are totally Wrong & Senior Staff members writing their own Brilliant Reviews Below????? Ellisons, and particularly Hayley, did an excellent job. They were on the case from day one, recommended a realistic asking price, agreed a very reasonable fee, and were persistent and proactive in marketing the property and dealing with a difficult chain. At every stage everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable, informed about the sale and any problems and helpful, and Hayley was usually one step ahead of me in pursuing things that needed to be done. I was very pleased with and grateful to Ellisons, and do not think they could have done any more. All that, and they were all very pleasant to work with too:-).

Viewed a property for rent in Morden with Ellisons. The property itself was very nice and we placed an offer for it but unfortunately the landlord went for a higher price. Ellisons informed me they would have another property in the same building the following week and someone would get in touch with me. A week or 2 later, I still hadn't heard anything to the point I was back at square 1, looking for other properties again. Unreliable agency. Would not recommend at all.

Don't rent a property managed by Ellisons. They don't care at all about the properties or the tenants. We had multiple issues with our property when we moved in which took over a month to fix. Despite marketing themselves as a premium estate agents, the 1 bed flat we rented was terrible and needs to be completely renovated. We were forced to steam clean a heavily stained carpet that was 20 years old, were left without a fridge and oven for 2 weeks, as well as other basic maintenance issues which weren't rectified e.g. Mould in the bathroom when we moved in, dirty fixtures, broken sliding wardrobe doors, broken drawers. The property was marketed with all the landlords dilapidated fixtures hidden in the loft and when we asked for them to be removed when we discovered them when we moved in we were told no. Everything is always a battle with these people, especially getting our deposit back. In the end, after being threatened multiple times with arbitration, we gave up and agreed. Even if you find your dream place, do not rent a property managed by Ellisons.
