It’s been a really seamless journey! John came out and took the pictures of my house and then Amy called to introduce herself and said she would be the one looking after me from here. Within six days I had an offer, which I accepted and Amy sent the information of the buyers solicitors on to mine and I was passed on to Charlotte. Amy also gave a follow up call to make sure I was in the loop with everything.

Fantastic service from start to finish. We have just bought our first house together this year through Manning Stainton and couldn’t have asked for anything more. We had our initial mortgage advice with their mortgage team who were super helpful, insightful and helped us to make an informed decision on what we could afford. Once we had found a property we were shown around by people who knew the area and were informed on the property. The buying process couldn’t have been less stressful throughout the whole process with the fantastic move team doing everything they could to get us in the property as soon as possible. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a house in Leeds.

Very poor professionalism. I rented a house that they managed on behalf of the landlord. I was there 6 years in total. In that time we had several different property managers. Every single one of them was unprofessional and quite frankly incompetent. I think they must have a special training programme when they join the company! When we came to move out things got even worse. They booked in viewings and didn’t tell us, so we had random people turning up at the door all the time. When they did tell us, they always got the wrong time. They didn’t even know which furniture in the property was ours, and which belonged to the house!Would never rent with them again and would also be put off buying a property that they were selling.

In the process of selling a home communication is key and they both kept me up to date all the time, were very transparent and made what can be a very stressful time- feel very stress-free!Highly reccomend using Manning, they are great!

They didn't turn up to the pre arranged viewing, no notice. All sorts of gibberish about deadlines for 'best and final offers' but didn't turn up. Do they think we're still in a property boom ?
Hi Robert, Ive spoken to the team and we are really confused by your review. We have a viewing arranged in our diary which we confirmed to you on a text which was on the 14th June (yesterday) at 16.45. Our team attended the property at 16.35 and he was able to wait for 30 minutes but you didn't arrive at the agreed and confirmed time. Given your review I can only assume there must have been some confusion or mix up. Ive asked the team to give you a call this morning to try and sort things out. Best wishes Mark ManningJust as a follow up I understand the team have now called but have been unable to speak to you on the phone. You have of course sent a message and whilst we can very much accept we arent in a property boom there are still occassions where properties can recieve multiple offers and we have have always felt the best and fairest way to deal with this is to ask for 'best and final offers.' We are sorry if this has caused you an issue and hope we are able to help you again in the future.

I engaged Manning Stainton in Pudsey to sell a property on behalf of an Estate of which I was sole Executor. They were excellent from start to finish of the sale and completion process. Whilst everyone I had contact with at Manning Stainton acted in a very professional way I'd make specific reference to Deborah Cundhill. Deborah helped and kept me up to date with all the activities in involved through viewings, offers right through to final completion of the sale. Would highly recommend.

The most disgusting agent I have ever seen. My purchase was dealt by Deborah Cundill and Amy Hunt from Pudsey office, LeedsI started purchase 3 properties in February and April 2021. Two purchases are all completed, only the one with them, they required me to submit mortgage application and lender valuation booked before removing the property from market. They actually secretly sold the property to someone else with higher price, because in the crazy market last year, almost every property sold above asking price, my accepted offer was below asking price, The agent has done everything but they blamed on vendor, said vendor has done all these to me. I must be an idiot to believe this. The vendor’s husband actually just passed away, she was selling more than one properties at that time I never say agent or vendor can’t change their mind. But why you require me to pay my mortgage advisor and submit mortgage application, but you actually already sold the property to someone else? Are you requiring everyone to submit mortgage application before removing property from the market?After I raised complaint, they blamed on me that their in-house mortgage advisor said I have mortgage issues, but my other two purchases were all completed, I have no mortgage problem. I think they should fire their own mortgage advisor. Meantime, all my AIP I provided they said not qualified, which means they want mortgage all through their own mortgage advisor. If this is not the case, of course this is particular standard for me. All these behaviours have gone to far, this type of agent has to be banned. I’ll go to Property Ombudsman
