Becky and Team(Horley) have been very professional throughout the whole process. Helped us many a times with providing clarifications and also in proactively reaching out to all parties involved; vendor, solicitors, etc.. In our experience their services are extremely reliable than other estate agents with whom we also had contacts during the whole house purchase process that lasted almost 4 months. I recently viewed a house in Reigate through White & Co, Reigate. I really loved the house and requested the advise from the agent as to the best way for me to proceed. I was told to offer full asking price of 850k which I did and I was told that there were no other offers on the table.Within half an hour of leaving the viewing, I was told someone had matched my offer. Therefore, I asked if I should increase my offer and was told no and to wait until the following morning when the vendor would make his decision. I knew that I was in a strong, favourable position to proceed with the purchase of this property immediately, so I had hoped that this would go in my favour. I rang Richard at White & Co first thing the following morning and once again I was advised not to increase my offer. At midday, I received a call from Richard to be advised that the vendor had accepted the other purchasers offer of 850k because the vendor and the purchaser knew one another. Richard then told me that even if I increased my offer by 20-30k the vendor would not proceed with me, despite my increased difference in the accepted offer price. The web of deceit unfolded before my eyes when I received an email from a local conveyancing solicitor, requesting to assist with the purchase of the house. The form the solicitor provided confirmed an accepted offer price of 880k and had all my personal details on it, which were provided by Richard at White & Co. They had accidentally provided the solicitor with my details instead of the other buyer. Not only was this a major GDPR breach but they lied to me about the other sellers offer, didn't give me the chance to represent an increased offer and they were not acting in the best interest on behalf of their seller. I was unable to purchase this property because of their dishonesty and deceit and they embarrassed the local solicitor who were now involved in their underhanded practise.My only advise, if you are a buyer or seller, avoid White & Co.

We understand you are upset at being the unsuccessful bidder for this property and we wish you well with your future property search.

After approaching several Companies it was decided to proceed with White and Sons. Within about three months White and Sons had sorted out much of the previous disorder which was far quicker than we had expected. A couple of major issues which had been ongoing for several years were completed within the first year. Service charge arrears were quickly brought down to an acceptable level. The staff at White and Sons have always been helpful, courteous, friendly and efficient and have gone out their way to make sure issues get sorted as quickly as possible. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

“White and Sons have now been our managing agents for over twenty years. During that period we have developed an excellent relationship with all the staff involved in block management. Their team is organised in such a way that most of our work is handled by one main contact who is supported by an administrative team. Other members of the team will assist when the main contact is unavailable. We also have direct contact with their accounts department when needed. We would recommend them to any other management company looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and helpful team as their managing agent.”

FacebookWe purchased our house in 2010 with White & Sons in Dorking so when we decided to sell in 2019, it felt only right to give the property back to them and we weren't disappointed with the sales valuation we received from Tom. Our property went under offer on July 18th 2019 but unfortunately in October of that year our buyers buyer pulled out. We took the decision to wait for them to secure another buyer but with Christmas & then lockdown we finally completed on August 7th to begin our new life in Ireland. Throughout the whole process White & Sons team were very professional. We were initially dealing with Philip but he was replaced with Maddy who was always very friendly, helpful and kept us updated along the way. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Well done White & Sons, keep up the good work and all the best for 2021.
