GoogleMy experience with Samuel Makepeace has been brilliant. They help me find my sister's dream home and were kind enough to recommend a solicitors who were cheaper than my initial solicitors. I can't thank Abbey enough for her patience with me, can't recommend Samuel Makepeace enough.

GoogleAn absolute shambles of an estate agency, with ridiculous double standards and very poor customer service. We had booked a viewing for a property, however ended up waiting for over 35 minutes in poor weather conditions for the agent to turn up to the appointment. The next day, we had another viewing with SM, but to be conducted by another agent, for a different property. We arrived on time, however the agent had already left and accused us of being late, saying he waited until 12.40, when in reality, we arrived on time at 12.30 and he was not even there - he had already left prior to our arrival. To them, it appears as though it is acceptable to make us wait but they cannot do the same and so accused us wrongly and lied about the situation - now unless we were wearing Harry Potter’s Invisibility Cloak, therefore he did not see us. We travelled for no reason and it was an utter waste of our time and money for travel costs. They had no decency to even contact us, we have to constantly ask where they are each time, showing a lack of regard to potential buyers/clients, not to mention they had left the gate of that property wide open. I would not even give them a one star to be very honest.
Hi Rebekah, Saturdays are notoriously busy, we are really on a time limit. So please accept our apologies. But our viewing assistants have to help out other customers. In regards to the first viewing, there was a road traffic accident. Totally out of our control. The fact that we are the areas number one, and you see our boards everywhere I think shows you and anyone else reading this review that it is not normal practice. Our team goes out of their way to help sellers and buyers alike, and it must have just been unfortunate circumstances. If you would like to book in again, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Some humour was needed at times due to delays but the process was eased very much through their great customer service and helpful nudging when needed to speed things up in the chain. GoogleExcellent service! We went for the full management option with Samuel Makepeace to rent out and take care of our property and, after nearly a year, we are delighted with their service. From the outset they gave solid advice and found us the perfect tenants very quickly. All of the properties issues have been ironed out and sorted thanks to their careful management, attention to detail and network of contacts and contractors. Excellent communication, on-top of everything and ahead of the curve. Just as important, our tenants are happy too :-) We cannot recommend their service highly enough!!!

We were buying a property and the agents have made the process very easy; information we required has been communicated honestly and accurately, without any heavy sales lingo, which gave us the confidence and freedom to make the right decision for us.

GooglePoor communication. Do not respond to emails or voicemails. Have lost out on two properties due to these amateurs. Avoid. Wouldn’t give one star if possible. Update to reply: I have not cancelled viewings. I attended both my viewings with you, getting them booked was another story. I have sent an email with questions about the house after my viewing as advised by the estate agent carrying out the viewing in Ball Green, this was never replied to despite completing your feedback survey too stating the questions again and that I would like to discuss making an offer. Good customer service is also important to SMEs and my review is honest, if you don’t like it, improve your offering.

GoogleI have used Samuel Makepeace on several occasions now, to both sell a commercial property and also to help me find tennants and manage my buy to lets. The service provided has always been exceptional, they have kept me in the loop along the way and always managed to find me tennants within a week (at the price i was asking). When it came to selling my commercial property, they came out within a few days to take the pictures and then it was straight on the market and sold within a few months. I would highly recommend this company for both sales and lettings.

Dino came out to meet me at the property in less than 48 hours when I first called (This was a great turn around time for appointments). Steph- The Milton branch manager is very helpful and replies to emails and phone calls straight away. Nothing is too much to ask! Even things which you wouldn't think Estate Agents would cover she is more than happy to advise/help. All the staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and professional. I'm very glad with my choice to use these Estate Agents! Thank you.
