GoogleVery good estate agents, would highly recommend. Proactive getting viewings in and all were attended by them and we were always notified in advance. Steve and the team were excellent in dealing with some issues and set backs we had during our house move. Very friendly crew at urban and rural and they always do as they say they will. My sister used them earlier this year (she recommended them to me) and had the same experience.

GoogleDear Urban and Rural Estate Agent, I want to share my disappointment with the service I received recently while trying to arrange a property viewing. Last week, I rang to confirm a viewing for Monday but was told I had to wait for confirmation from the tenant. By Thursday, I still hadn’t heard anything, so I rescheduled for the following week. However, when I rang again on Thursday to confirm the new viewing for Saturday, I was told you still hadn’t received confirmation. This was very frustrating, as I had to keep chasing for updates. I feel it should be your responsibility to follow up promptly and keep me informed. Instead, I was left without answers and had to do all the chasing myself. When I asked questions to understand the delay, like when you last contacted the tenant and why it hadn’t been followed up, the agent seemed annoyed and didn’t offer any reassurance that the matter would be resolved. This only made the situation worse. I feel there was a lack of organisation and communication throughout, and I would appreciate it if you could improve how you handle these situations in the future. The whole team at U&R have been an absolute rock during our house sale. From the beginning of valuing & helping us understand the current market, getting the right viewers in the door, showing buyers round and then after the offer accepted talking to the multitude of people involved to keep things moving day in day out. The entire team have been more than helpful and are incredibly genuine people!

GoogleWe have just used Urban and Rural to sell my mother's bungalow. The service was excellent and costs were very competitive. The initial survey for quoting for the business was very professional, detailed and prompt. Their marketing strategy was well explained and very comprehensive. The property initially sold (stc) within 4 days of going on the market at a higher than asking price. Unfortunately the buyer got cold feet and pulled out. The property was re-marketed and once again sold (stc) within 4 days at an even higher price than the first buyer. Throughout the sales process, Urban and Rural have been highly professional, on the ball and progressed the sale to exchange of contracts quickly and efficiently. They have liaised with buyer and seller to resolve any questions that have arisen and acted promptly and with integrity throughout. That quality of service continued after exchange of contracts. Steven Redmond and his company deserve high praise. We are very pleased that we used Urban and Rural. Highly commended.

FacebookAbsolutely Unreliable, Avoid at All Costs! We have had a deeply frustrating and awful experience with this estate agent. Our house sale fell through just two weeks before our proposed move date due to their failure to properly qualify the buyer at the bottom of the chain. We were led to believe they were cash buyers and investors, only to discover the day before our planned exchange that they were not able to proceed and lacked the necessary funds. What’s worse, the agents have been unresponsive and evasive throughout this process, showing a complete lack of professionalism and urgency in resolving the issue. It’s clear they do not prioritise their clients' interests. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. The stress and disappointment caused by this agency are simply not worth it.
