This company should be shut down! Shocking!! They under valued my home by £35,000 after 3 other companies valued it at the correct price causing a long chain to collapse! There are hundreds of other similar reviews.Why is nothing being done about this company! All google reviews and trust pilot are 1 star! They should be disgusted by themselves!! What are they gaining by doing this!

Mutley plain branch! They made my life hell! I tried buying a house through them they lied to the seller and to me and even lied to my lawyer about taking a house I clearly said I'm not interested! Sam the manager is very unprofessional! DO NOT BUY A HOUSE OR SELL ONE THROUGH MUTLEY PLAIN YOU WILL DEA WITH SAM AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL! AND HE WILL LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU BUYING OR SELLING YO GET YOUR MONEY!

TrustpilotTHE WORST ESTATE AGENTS IN SWINDON
The very worst Estate agents by far! I reported a maintenance issue and was told to watch a YouTube video to resolve it. The tenancy ended in May 24 and they wanted to claim from my deposit. I raised a dispute and they charged their minds. I am still waiting for my deposit 6weeks after the tenancy ended. They have no sense of urgency (not to tenants in my opinion) and will frustrate the hell out of you. Very poor customer service and they don't care about you. Don't be fooled by the brand name. Avoid doing business with them if you want peace of mind.

Trying to sell my mums house , I live abroad so I have to rely on phone calls and emails (A) little or no communication so I have no idea of what’s going on (B) cut off on a phone call half way through speaking because the rep obviously didn’t think what I had to say was important (C) flim flam & nonsense every time I call(D) they say they will send a email by the end of the day … this never happens(E) agent says he will send a mail by the end of the day … then goes on vacation and I’m left hangingI shall have to see this through , I have zero choice , but I wish I’d read these reviews first.Sheisters

Super friendly, efficient, and communicate well meaning that our experience with viewing a property, applying, and the application process was really smooth and I am yet to meet a lettings agency with such brilliant staff! Paid a marketing fee of £238 which if I used their solicitors gilson gray I would get this amount back. First I was promised 28 working days from the house sale being completed 2 months went by then told 28 working days from when they send in the invoice. The account team sent an email to say this is being fast tracked and I would get it by 7pm still nothing back and getting excuses after excuses

Absolute Scam artists. Ridiculous deductions from deposit (£250 for an oven that needed cleaning and a shower screen that was dirty). Neighbours said cleaners never attended, refused to provide an invoice for cleaning. Useless communication. Agent I dealt with made return of deposit as diffcult as possible (taken 2.5 months) and pulled stunts like ignoring my email for a week, emailing a reply at 5:20 on a Friday and when I responded immediately, got an "out of office for a week" auto-response. Scum.

GoogleI've started to deal with Alex for lettings as a landlord and she has gone out of her way to get me started. Nothing has been too much trouble and is a pleasure to do business with. Only reason i went with Brown and Merry was because of how good Alex is.

Honestly, the worst company you could work for or use as a client. I have not experienced everything quite like it. I had witnessed, heard and been made to tell so many lies to paying customers. Money is all they care about, not ones health. Not a good company.

We completed on our house on Friday and We used connells as our Agent, their customer service is awful. No viewing feedback, I had to ring them each time to ask, most times just being told we can’t get hold of them. On one viewing I happened to be in the house and the agent let it slip that the week before the woman who was supposed to view our house didn’t actually view it and there was confusion and it wasn’t our house she wanted to view, instead of telling us this, they made up feedback and said one of the bedrooms was too small! They had a key for us in their office so they could let themselves in to do viewing yet one time we got called back to let them in as they didn’t know they had a key! After we had agreed an offer that was the last we pretty much heard from them. I would chase and chase on emails for updates just to get a snotty email back from Adam who’s the sales branch manager. Absolutely no communication pretty much from start to finish!

GoogleAmazing!! The girls down in the Stony Stratford office are incredible. I was desperate to let my property however other local agents struggled to even get a few viewings. After speaking with Alex and Beth I put it straight on the market with them and my property got let on one of the first viewings. I was so shocked to hear the property was let so quickly and not to mention to for a higher rent then I advertised for! Cannot say enough how much professional and prompt they were.

I mistaken he put these people on the list For selling my house without checking reviews here! They phoned up and made an appointment But when I said I’m obviously speaking to a number of agents and I’m Ruling out, could you tell me your fees she said,” Oh, we don’t have set fees It depends on your future intentions how much we charge you” I said, I didn’t think that was quite right, but I would discuss it when they came to value. A couple of hours later someone else from the office rang Apparently, an error, but it turned out the first woman hadn’t bothered to make an appointment because I I didn’t want to pay more than others.
