I have known Joseph Bookman for 2 years and since the day we first spoke, I knew he would be the agent to find my wife and I our dream home. Joe was extremely patient with us, we wanted a specific area and Joe always went over and beyond to do all he could to show us houses, whether they were on or off the market and for that my wife and I will always be grateful. He is extremely professional and responsive, I never had to chase him, he always provided updates even when there weren't any! My wife and I would recommend Joe and the team at Richard James to anyone who is buying or selling, they are fantastic and take all the stress away! Thank you again Joe for everything!

These were my 4th agent in a year in west Swindon. What a refreshing change! Use of whatsapp to communicate, excellent staff. Achieved a sale quickly, then passed us to their sales progressing sister company who were fantastic. Slick operation compared to Connells, Allen & Harris and I.am.sold. Do not waste your time with other agents in west swindon. I cannot recommend Richard James more highly.

I had booked an Appointment to view a detached house in Kingsdown park, Swindon at 13.00 on a Saturday in March 2026. On the morning of the viewing I had a call from the agent stating she was too busy to show me the property and will rearrange the viewing . As I live close , I drove around to see the area. I found the house already had Sold Stc board on it. Effectively it had already been sold. So why are the agents letting me think its not sold and waste my time ?

Terrible service, they failed to list the property for two weeks then listed it incorrectly and all the search parameters were wrong. They didn't carry out the marketing campaign as advertised until we rang to complain. When we got a sale they miss handled it and caused our buyers to look elsewhere then said it was not their fault after they had contacted the buyers to say the chain wasn't complete , after they had told them, a week before that it was complete. They then said the property we were buying was likely to take a few months to find somewhere to go and the buyers started looking elsewhere. Totally miss handled. Avoid at all costs
