We chose Henstocks because they are a family -run business with a good track record and excellent local knowledge. We could not be more pleased with the service we've received. The sale of the house turned out to be more complicated than anticipated but Henstocks were superb in dealing with the Buyers and solicitors. As we had moved away from the area and overseas for much of the time, we had to rely heavily on the expertise of the staff, who definitely went above and beyond to support us throughout the sale process. We were very satisfied with the sale price and the way negotiations were handled on our behalf. We would recommend Henstocks without hesitation.

Henstock was great from start to move in date. Very easy going which is important for me as I’m self employed and don’t have a lot of time to be going back and fourth with agents throughout the week. We want to say a big thank you to Jonathan Henstock, from the outset he gave us great advice on valuation and how our home needed to be presented for photographs. We liked the fact that he was experienced and exceptionally knowledgeable about our area and felt comfortable him doing all our viewings, we always received feedback after each viewing. Throughout the process Jonathan was responsive, professional and flexible in meeting our needs. If for any reason Jonathan was not available the team back at the Henstocks office were really friendly and helpful. I have been a tenant with Henstock Property Services since February 2015 and in the same house! However, current landlady unexpectedly came to tell me she is selling the house 3 weeks ago. I was frantically viewing lots of properties to either be pipped to the post or turned down for other reasons. I went to Henstock and they just had a mid terrace house come on with them for rent. I viewed and really liked it. However, I had alot of hoops to jump through, Andrew and Jonathan were fabulous and particularly Andrew negotiated really hard with the landlord to secure the property for me, as I had a dog and other obstacles to overcome. Andrew worked so hard and brilliantly for me and adter long negotiations and a few sleepless nights on my part, Andrew secured the property for me. I picked the keys up today, 19th November 2022. I cannot reccommend Henstock Property Services enough, they worked so hard for me as a tenant and and have really treated me well and looked after me for the last 8 years. They have looked after me so well and it's really reassuring that they value both parties not just the landlord or the tenant but really do look after both parties involved. They have ensured that my moving process has gone so smoothly. I look forward to many more years of being a tenant with Henstock and then eventually, one day, I will certainly look to Henstock when I am ready to buy a home of my own.

Sold my house recently - went with Henstocks out of 4 estate agents as they came across as honest, straight forward, and professional with a great knowledge about the local market - and this turned out to be the case. I particularly liked the approach that Jonathan offered as it fit with what I was looking for. Other agents were part of national chains and the service they were offering also felt much less personal. I’d also bought the house 3 years previously with one of those agents and had to chase them endlessly … anyway, Jonathan was fantastic, always made himself available and offered as much support as you need/want - not over bearing if you mostly know what you’re doing! Also the pictures were brilliant, much better than ones I’ve had done before and most you see online. As a local family run business they clearly put an emphasis on customer service and care about their reputation, unlike others that rely on their national status. WOW !! - That is honestly the one word that comes to mind when I think about Henstock Lettings. My journey with Henstock started with Jayne when I applied for my first property, which unfortunately I didn't get. Due to me being a little upset, when I spoke to Jayne she totally reassured me about the situation and advised it wasn't anything to do with my profile and that that she would find me something even better with a fast turnaround...which is absolutely what she did ! Within that week, Jayne called me and told me that a property close to were I currently lived, was becoming available and that she would put me in for a viewing straight away and that if i liked it, she would instantly put me forward for it before it even went on the public market !! A couple of days later we went and viewed the property which was absolutely stunning, we had an instant love for it the minute we pulled up to the property, the outside was just as beautiful as the inside and was everything we described to Jayne, the spec, the layout and the room size. Everything was just perfect. I called Jayne the next morning and told her that we loved the property however, there were a few things we would like to change. Usually this is a big put off to a letting agent however, again i was shocked and they handled my issues with such professionalism it blew me away. We started to go ahead with the application and before we knew it, the original tenants had moved out and we were in ! On the 1st July 2019 we got handed a set of keys by Mr Henstock who again, was such a pleasure to work with as well as an inspiration to look up to. Looking back now over a month later, i just wanted to tell people how amazing and truly professional this company is to work with. They don't just want your money and for a change, they do actually care about you as an individual and look after you as though we are the only tenants they have. From the start, Jonathan at Henstocks PS was efficient and professional. I viewed a property, immediately visited the office to make an offer which was phoned through and accepted while I was in the office. I thought that this is where the relationship would end but how wrong I was. Jonathan was pro-active in pushing both solicitors through and we spoke almost weekly for updates. Henstocks went above the call of duty in not just introducing the buyer to the seller but being our link in communications. I am extremely delighted with Henstock! They went the extra mile to help me and my fiancee with the purchase of our first home. Long story short- we were in a chain and we were in the process of buying for 2 months when we got the notice from our land lord that we need to move out in little more than a month. This is when we started panicking, because we were in position where we could find ourselves spending crazy amount of money on hotels for us and storage for all of our belongings. This is when I started chasing down the chain. I have phoned Henstock , I got through to John and even though I WAS NOT working with them he was very friendly and concerned about our problem. He said that he will contact his clients in South Africa and ask them to provide all needed documents to close the deal. As you can imagine we were very nervous whether we will be able to to move in on time. We were on the phone to Henstock at least 3 times a week and I must say that they did the real work and made what at one point seemed impossible - possible. The process was very stressful and we manage to move in our new home on the day that we had to move out from the place we were renting thanks to the helpful team of Henstock There is no doubt - every time we start talking about estate agents I recommend Henstock!
