GoogleI just want to give a massive shoutout to the incredible team at Horizon Sales and Lettings. I’m not based in London and have a property portfolio in Middlesbrough, what I love about Horizon is that they’re truly a one-stop shop. They handle everything: maintenance, landlord certificates, refurbishments, you name it.
There was a major incident at one of my properties on McBean Street, and before I was even aware of the situation, the Horizon team had already gone out, dealt with it professionally, and kept everything under control. That’s the level of care and initiative they bring.
Martin, one of the managers, is absolutely amazing, and my account manager Victoria is fantastic. Honestly, if I were managing things myself, it would’ve taken me five hours to get from London to Middlesbrough to sort it out, but with Horizon, I didn’t have to lift a finger.
What really sets them apart is their honesty and transparency. In an industry where some agents can take advantage of landlords who live far away, Horizon are the complete opposite. They’re genuine, fair, and professional, a true benchmark for the industry..
I wish them continued success and hope they expand their team and open more branches, especially in London! We need more companies like Horizon Sales and Lettings.

Lies & false deadlines regarding receiving my deposit back have continued for weeks. Feels like the business is more proactive when it comes to keeping the landlord(s) happy, than assisting tenants to receive what is legally their own funds.
Whole heartedly would not recommend Horzions Lettings & Sales for anyone looking to rent, cannot comment on the Sales side of the business. However, if it is anything like the utter shambles of the Rental side, I would strongly advise to avoid.

I've looked into this and can't see that you have been a tenant of ours based on your profile name, so I am not certain if this review is genuine. However, standard practice for deposit issues is to raise disputes via the trusted Deposit Scheme that we use for all of our tenancies, to ensure a third party oversees the dispute and agrees on a fair settlement.

Hi Charlotte. Apologies for the delay. I do not see any record of you in our system, nor as a tenant.
With all Deposit disputes, these are handled by a Third Party company who holds and protects the bonds, and offer unbiased resolution for any disputes. It would seem to me, if you were a tenant of ours, if you had not breached any terms, incurred damages or arrears, you would have had your bond returned. If you have lost your bond, it is because it would have been rightfully owed to the landlord, and supported by the Bond Protection company.
If you need any further clarity on this still, you can liaise directly with the agency. -Charlotte

If there is any zero star that what they deserve
They will sweet talk you into parting with your money without being sure that the documents needed to sale a property is with the seller, they will tell you give youbfraudulent statistics return on investment. Once you parted with their agent fee that is where the story get interesing. If you request to see the property they will keep giving excuses that the owner is not available meaning they don't even have acces to the property for 1 month. Finally to close the sales it will take 6 months. Next they will stop taking your messages if they manage to speak to you they will tell you that they are waiting for documents to complete the sales. I chased them for more than 6 months and requested for a refund they told me that is mot refundable and that there is no time limit stated to close seal On the process i lost my dad and was preparing for burial. One month later i got an email from my Solicitors, asking me to pay for their services because the agent told them that the property is no longer available. When i contacted them and asked why they said that they sent me a message on WhatsApp and I didn't reply for 1 month. That they have sold the property. I asked them that i didnt get an official email from them they said they set me a message on WhatsApp which I didn't have access to at that time and as a company do you communicate via email?.
I asked for refund they they refused. But i will be fighting for my fund. They are so heartless even when I told them that i liat my dad that period. They couldn't wait for more than 1 month but they held me hostage for 7 minths

We are genuinely sorry to read your review and to learn of the personal loss you experienced during this time. Please accept our sincere condolences for the passing of your father. We fully appreciate that this must have been an incredibly difficult period for you.
However, we must respectfully clarify several important points regarding the transaction.
Firstly, you were not in any way “sweet talked” into proceeding. You made contact with us following your interest in our property promotion (on the 8th of July), and all queries you raised were answered transparently and in detail. At every stage, information was provided in response to your questions and requests so that you could make an informed decision.
Your offer was agreed on 24th July, and from that point our sales team worked alongside you every step of the way. We consistently chased all parties involved and provided updates throughout the process.
The delay you have referred to related specifically to the leasehold management information pack, which was being supplied by an external leasehold management company. This documentation is outside of both our control and your solicitor’s control, yet it is a mandatory requirement for solicitors to review before exchange and completion.
The completed management pack was presented to the solicitors on 30th September, and you were advised of this the same day. While we appreciate this was some time after your offer was agreed, this was entirely dependent on a third party providing the required documentation. Although it would technically have been possible to proceed without it, no responsible agent or solicitor would recommend doing so.
You advised that you were a cash buyer, and from 30th September onward (based on the management pack being all that was outstanding) we were in a position to move towards completion promptly. We chased regularly during this period. However, we were later informed by your solicitor that there had been no contact from mid-November, and this was formally confirmed to us on 14th January. Communication is critical in progressing a transaction, and unfortunately the lack of engagement during this period significantly impacted the timeline.
Regarding communication, we use multiple methods including email and WhatsApp, depending on the contact details and preferences previously provided. Our staff had seen your active status on WhatsApp, your usual communication method with us, and attempted to reach you. At no stage was there any intention to mislead or avoid communication.
We categorically refute any suggestion of fraudulent information or misconduct. Our team acted professionally throughout, providing updates, chasing third parties, and attempting to move the sale forward as efficiently as possible within the constraints of the legal process.

GoogleI am a tenant and paying rent to owners but suddenly people from horizon came and they vacate us within 10 minutes we didn't have time to pack our things, at the same time their people said no problem you people are tenants you can call us at any time and you will get access to your things but you just need to call this number. In the reality after we vacated we tried every single day but they didn't respond very well and said they need bank permission if they really need bank permission how some members are going into that house taking photos etc. How we know was they kept sale board, how my credit cards lost getting messages.
We came outside of the house since one and half month without our things, we are not local people, can you imagine how we survive without our proofs, identity, may be your are enjoying this Christmas but what about us we also celebrate I kept all my traditional jewelry in a hurry on that day, for this Christmas from horizon I got financial loss, mental trauma, stress,depression every bad thing happened to me and my family, I want to cry loud,want to scream but................... Whom I need to share, complaint no idea in life .and how we trust these people like goats, when they knock our door I just opened and invite them into the house and trust their words blindly because we have great belief in their system we do what they said, we have chance not allowing them into house and if we restrict we need to take our luggage what they will do we do favour for them , make the process easy for them oh my god ..........
